Here some of my own experiences:
Never laugh with a broken rib.This hurts:P
Don't play hockey without any protections.You might get scarred for life.

Don't go to a metal concert in glasses. Ever.
Even if previous umpteen attempts were succesful and there were no victims, the day comes for everyone.

PLOT TWIST.
The crowd backed off immediately and the glasses were returned to me at once by some nice girl with better eyesight (it's really hard to have worse eyesight than me).
I try to remember about wearing lenses to such events, but I'm usually too lazy/absent minded/busy. Did I mention that I absolutely adore all these gloomy, black-clad people in heavy boots? They're most gentle, polite and amazing people ever.
I think I'm going to tattoo that on the arm of my four year old one day...

Which explains why I often end up mixing my own cocktails in bars. The number of people who try and shake a Gin Martini is sinful.
