@Jaseace Did you use TextEdit when editing the file?
Also: there should be tabs (not spaces) separating the three parts of the ini line, and the line needs a comma at the end, unless it's the last one before the closing bracket of the ini file );
@Jaseace I don't think removing/reinstalling the game gets rid of the ini file, which TextEdit has a habit of badly breaking. Delete the baldur.ini file and try running the game again.
I cannot now get into the game, it crashes continually?
I think I remember seeing someone mention this before when they changed the .ini files on a Mac. If I remember correctly, you have to delete the .ini file (which doesn't get deleted when you uninstall) and repair the game (or install it again).
I should have mentioned this at the time, but I figured since you were asking, you already knew. But always save a clean copy of any file you change in the game somewhere (I use a folder on my Desktop called "Game Back Ups" ), so if it messes up your game, you can just delete the corrupted version and copy/paste the clean copy in the correct spot.
@Jaseace being very specific in adding space, commas etc. in baldur.ini has been mentioned, but I'd like to do so again. And use as basic a text editor as you can find. When in doubt, use a hex editor.
I'm trying to change (or get rid of) the default characters actually. It gets pretty tedious to delete them every time your restartitis acts up.
Indeed - I mean you have to click on every one of them - why that's six clicks of the mouse I'm a busy guy that could take 10% of a minute - lifes too short for that sort of nonsense I mean seriously what were they thinking! (insert rolling eyes here) LOL

But it helps curb the urge to restart! This could develop into an new feature that alleviates the symptoms of restartitis for hundreds of players (probably not but one can always hope).

Then C:CreateItem("blah") or C:SetCurrentXP("number")
Et cetera. You only need C:Command not CLUAConsole:Command.
EDIT: Oh, and if you press control+8 when you're creating your character's stats, you'll get all 18s.
Game now wont load...hmmm

I do use textedit, yes, never had issues with it, but will look at the other.

Does the ranger class get any additional priest spells with a high score in Wisdom?
Thanks
Thanks a lot!
1) Both my Fighter/thief & Fighter/druid (multi) have 4 weapon slots but only 2 work - feature or bug?
rangers/paladins get 3 and single class fighters get all 4.
Thx
The Iron Crisis has not touched the Spine of the World. Your weapons can't break in IWDEE.
