! So you played a kind and diplomatic necromancer?
I don't know. I'm getting Fallout and Arcanum vibes from this game. I think having no ruler will be best for this town. ... But I'll probably get some ending like 'the people of -----, with no ruling army, were wiped out by the tribal G---flalins'.
Indeed! That's how Val usually is. Evil isn't my style. Usually chaotic neutral or chaotic good.
Has everyone passed the game before I even began? XD I feel I'm the last to start.
It's a common thing to get the level of excitement among people down a bit after some time has passed since the game release. I'm still 60 hours into the game and nowhere near the middle of it.
It's just that BG called for me again and right now I'm back to the Sword Coast. But I'm sure that I'll be back to Eora in several weeks.
I had no hesitation about killing Raedric. There are many evil characters in the game and fanatics of all kinds too. However it is difficult to retrospectively think about a more evil secondary character. On the other hand, what are Kolsc's crimes ? One of the thing I appreciate in that game is that it does not concretely grant you rewards for bad or good actions. The npcs have their own particular ethics and you can interact during the dialogs but ultimately you resort to your own ethics and morality as a player.
@typo_tilly a well-known spoiler for you about Kolsc and Raedric:
Kolsc will die anyway even if you don't kill him. You will see such a triggered event in Act III (possibly act II if you side with a particular group but I am really not sure). There is also a letter to pay attention to but I haven't explored all faction options yet and therefore I do not know the natural extension of it.
So I have returned to the endless paths of of nua! I took a long break and am overleveled for the area, but I think I'm on the 7th or 8th floor now. Good old fashioned fun!
I really enjoy that if you get bored of the main plot line or side questing you can go back to your stronghold and fight through a mega dungeon until you want to get back out there. I find it a really nice feature that I would like to see in future RPGs.
@CoryNewb I think that Old Nua floors 8-15 are the most difficult maps of the game. On par with a few bounties (the challenges those bounties offer are quite heterogenous), the revenge of mister R., the final fight and perhaps the few battles with many spirits, if not tactically prepared.

Well I will stay on my toes thanks for the advice. My PC ranger just dinged 10 and my party should be 10 soon as well.
Also, I had not done any bounties yet so I went and obtained the first four (not sure if there is more) and I'll be getting sidetracked with those I'm sure.
The main quest in act 3 didn't keep my attention in twin elms, so I will probably try and get to through of nua for a few days.
@typo_tilly I got the game on launch (should have preorderd it a couple days before), but I'm not really close to finishing it. I really like the NPCs:)
Oh? I like Eder so far and Aloth will be interesting. The priest is just batty and the psionic is strange. n.n' I've just recruited the druid, who seems alright. And I may go back for the ranger to replace my created barbarian. (More chatter ^_^) The chanter seems nice, but he just doesn't fit my party. Not with both Tilly and Tivic (my thief).
I hope they add more characters when they mae the expansion pack. Is 8 enough? I don't think so!
I totally recommend Sagani the Ranger. She's tiny, adorable, and is super derpy but still can be serious and even be intimidating. I love her story questline and her banters. She's so out-of-place it's great lol.

There are 15 bounties. Three series of 4 and a final group of three bounties. At level 10 your party should be able to deal with the first series without any major problem. One of the bounties belonging to the first group is in Elmshore (not a spoiler, the warden will tell you) and that's a kind of game protection for the new player because many players will not pass the Stormwall Gorge early game and therefore they will not be granted access to the following bounty series.
I've not absolutely loved the chanter (kana?) As far as his dialog goes, but he is a DPS MONSTER. (Maybe I'll like him more when I finish of nua)
I think my next party will utilize the grieving mother, the ranger girl, and the little guy with big ears. When I play I tend to stick with a party, next time I'll have a better idea of what I need.
@typo_tilly I also want to play a godly char. It seems priests and various races offer a lot of dialog options.
I don't know if I'd ever do a run like this, but thought of this for lols.
Death Godlike Priest of Berath: Greatsword frontliner Fire Godlike Priest of Magran: Gunslinger and Offensive damage caster. Moon Godlike Priest of Eothas: Healer and main tank with flail and shield. Nature Godlike Priest of Wael: Offensive Debuffer and rod dps. Death Godlike Priest of Skaen: Dual Daggers. Sneak and Mechanics. Utility guy.
Hmmm. Who would make a cool 6th for this group?
Edit: Get the Gunslinger maxed out weapon slots and then just cycle between guns so he doesn't have to reload lol.

One time I played an androgynous female drow rogue/shadowdancer in a 3.5/pathfinder PnP game and would regularly disguise myself to whatever gender/race I needed with wands and disguise kits. The party would be confused where I was when I would be right next to them as a "different person."
I imagine your party members being like, "WHERE DID THE WATCHER GO AND WHO'S THIS PERSON!?"
Some nerfs were probably needed but they basically made blunderbuss ciphers nonviable through the draining whip change, the 1/4 instead of 1/2 starting focus is the biggest nerf imo, and nerfs to some abilities - the second nerf of cipher abilities. In return they got added endurance.
Thanks. endurance for my class that only gets hit if i majorly screw up.
Harsh nerfs but he was pretty baddass. I use an arquebus so I may consider draining whip next level up. Wizards got some good defensive buffs, but fan of flames is nerfed.

Maybe my next playthrough will be either a Death Godlike Orlan Paladin or Priest.
Prob a Bleak Walker or Cleric of Berath. I can't summon skelly bros but I'll just get that item that summons shadows asap.
