Alora is pretty happy that the lizard is in a cage rather than running about the place. Why Jaheira would want to free an ugly brute like that is a complete mystery to her.
Still, she is not going to worry about that now. She draws her trusty short sword and tries to hit the nearest Bullywug.
Alora hits one of the Bullywugs and chops it hard. Arkanis kills it. Meanwhile, Minsc and Ajantis take out the other one. Jaheira whacks the cage, knocking it apart.
The Lizard breaks free, looks at the party, bends down and picks up the dead body of one of the bullywugs and runs off into the swamp with it.
Jaheira nods her head. "Nature is released to itself. This is justice."
"I think I'm going to be a ranger and I'm going to have frogs for my racial enemy because I am really good at fighting frogs!" announces Alora with a distressing lack of modesty.
She proceeds to search the Bullywug camp for treasure.
The remaining Bullywug body has some crudely made jewelry on it, made from bone, stone, silver wire, obsidian pebbles and other such things. While it isn't worth much, some of the pieces are quite nice. As a group, it's probably worth around 10gp.
From here, the path leads on to the east-north-east. From ahead, you can hear muted snatches of conversation in a language none of you can understand. The voices, though, sound like someone trying to gargle underwater.
I haven’t the slightest clue. *sarcastically* I don’t speak rodent to ask our guide either. I hope it is toward civilization. And were we not suppose to rest soon it is getting dark.
LOL. Jaheira's epic slapdown was heard from outer space! ;0
The weird noise turns out to be more of those Tullywugs apparently arguing amongst themselves. It's hard to tell, but there appears to be five or six of them.
"I'm a ranger now," announces Alora, "So I will scout ahead. And if I find any nasty frogs I will slay them with my trusty sword or my trusty bow (if I find some trusty arrows)."
Alora scouts ahead but she will attempt to move silently in her Boots of Elvenkind and to hide in the shadows. Once she discovers what is making the gurgling noise she will run back and tell the party.
"We will have to be very quiet," says Alora before leading Aerie back down the path. She hopes the Bullywugs are arguing loud enough that they won't hear them coming.
From ahead, you still near snatches of conversation through the reeds and grasses, although it isn't any clearer now than it was before. Going through the mist, you peer forwards and see four of the frog-like humanoids gesticulating at each other. They don't appear to have noticed you.
When Arkanis sneezes, the Bullywugs look up.In moments, whatever they had been arguing about was forgotten as they charged you with their crude spears.

"Sleep spell! Does anyone know a sleep spell?" she whispers frantically.
"I can do it," Aerie whispered back, and stepped forward to follow Alora.
"Sorry, must be this fog."
