Aerie was thinking about casting Bless to give her friends a welcomed boost, but upon seeing Anomen and Ajantis righteously cleave their steel into the skulls of the duergars, she realized...maybe they have plenty enough heavenly help.
OOC: Watch; now that I've typed that, I will have jinxed us. XD
Now that the last Duergar is dead, you finally get a chance to look around fully. The room is 30' North-south by 40' east-west. To the north, and east, is a door leading north. There is also a door leading north right next to the west wall.
The two combatant Duergar are wearing chain mail and bearing shields. The other two are wearing crude leather armor. There are two spears and two axes. One of the spears and the two axes are normal, if a little crude, while the remaining spear is something special. It appears to be made completely of metal- very well made, in fact. There is some sort of crest on the handle- the snake symbol that the Dwarves who used to live here used, in fact.
The two dwarves in chain mail are also wearing jewelry. The one wounded by the other Duergar has a gold headband and a pair of matching armbands. The other one also wears a headband and armbands of gold, but these are set with citrines. The two lesser Duergar have ones of unadorned leather- essentially worthless.
As Alora goes through the possessions of the Duergar, she finds a hidden recess in the boot of the Duergar wearing the citrines in their arm and headbands.

"Guys! This duergar has got something hidden in his boot!"
Alora examines the recess to see what is in there, she is hoping to find more treasure but she will be careful in case there is some kind of trap.
Sure. She can use it on other things as well. The short bow you found is a Short Bow +1. That stuff in the gold snake statue is a potion of fire resistance mixed with animal control (3 doses). The spear is a Spear +1, +2 vs Giant class creatures, +3 vs orcs and ogres.
Aerie offered the spear to Anomen. "I think you'll find this one to be even more effective than your current." (OOC: Or at least I hope so because I can't remember what Anomen is using.) Then she offered the shortbow to Alora. "What do you think of this, little one?" (OOC: Because I can't remember what Alora is using either. )
"I found a key!" announces Alora. "I bet this unlocks something, " she adds, displaying the kind of insight that makes her leadership material.
"Well done for identifying everything Alora. The potion should be useful if we meet any animals that are on fire. Who wants the other things? Can anyone use a bow or a spear?"
Finding out that all these things are magical has made Alora think she has missed something. She is going to go back to the kitchen/storeroom to get the three, long crossbow bolts. After that (and assuming she doesn't get eaten by wandering monsters on the way) she will go to the door on the east side and check for traps and listen before opening it.

OOC: I feel bad hogging all the magical items we’ve found. Two magical spears and magical armour to boot.
Minion, roll 1d100 for check traps
(Sorry, not near my dice)
Stand well back. I am going to disarm it.
Alora attempts to disarm the trap.
OOC: @LadyRhian Do I roll 1d100 for disarming traps or should I leave it to you?
