"Apparently this Zelligar had no fondness for thieves. It is perhaps a good sign, though, that the deterrent was non lethal.

Regardless, I am sorry for your pain, Alora."

Serves you right for going through things that do not belong to you. I told you, we are here for the pools and that is it.

"For once, be silent, fool!" Jaheira did not care for Anomen when he was, in fact, silent - an emotion that gained hostility as he spoke more and more. As for the bear skin, she would like a reckoning with the culprit, and could only hope that would come soon.

Quiet wpman, no one asks for your opinion, so do not give it. I tired of your hostile attitude towards every member of this group.

Remember, you do not have your husband here to protect you and your vile tongue any longer.

"I think it would be wise for you to improve your conduct while in this party," Ajantis offered to the two bickering companions.

The paladin follows Alora, prepared for combat if the door reveals any creatures with sharp pointy swords or teeth or both.

Neera looks worried a bit and then follows after the others.

Jaheira essentially ignores Anomen's words, as they came from him. Ajantis was a little more, well, balanced, so she didn't dismiss his thoughts, out of hand. Besides, they had a task to fulfill, so she set her mind to that (for the time being).

"That does not look friendly at all! Here's to hoping things go well. . ."

Neera prepares to cast magic missile on the creature. The spell fizzles and Neera stands there waving her hands erratically. "Come on, not again!"

    OOC: I rolled a 04 on my 2d10s.

Oh no. Time to look up the wild surge list >_> Got an 82. Let's see. . . "Random treasure added to inventory of the target."

OOC: Oh, neat! Then yeah, I'll just try and cast magic missile! XD

Ajantis steps forward to put himself between Neera and the creature, careful not to break her line of sight to the beast. He readies himself for battle.

    "Helm, give us strength!"

OOC: Neat creature! Wait, that's a carrion crawler isn't it? Dang, why can't paladins be immune to paralyzation?

If Ajantis recognizes the creature, and has time, he warns the others about the creature's paralyzing tentacles.

Aerie took out her sling and filled it with a stone. The creature was long, and as such, it should be easier to hit from a distance without hurting Ajantis or Anomen. She hoped, at least.
