Alora stops running and loads her sling. However, since she is a horrible shot she won't join the combat unless things start to go against us.

"Ouch." Ajantis sheathes his sword and removes his shield in order to heal himself as much as possible.

"No fire burns quite like friendly fire," he chuckles, "Be at ease, such things happen in combat."

Aerie is embarrassed (I'm assuming here.)

OOC: She's so embarrassed it's almost adorable.

"A-Ajantis, I'm so sorry!" Aerie's face burned a bright pink as she cast her final Cure Light Wounds on her comrade. "I-I was trying to help, but I suppose I should have stayed back..."

OOC: Oh Neera would definitely do it "accidentally." Oh no I tripped over nothing and fell into Jaheira, knocking her over. Must be that crazy Wild Magic again! Fortunately Neera doesn't know everyone comfortable enough atm to start doing stuff like that on her own. Persuaded however. . .

"You see Anomen, you do have to search things to find what you are looking for. This book tells us where the spring is."

She gives Anomen the first book. She will save the second book for Jaheira and she will give the third and fourth books to Neera and Aerie to study.

While the others enjoy the reading rainbow Ajantis will try his hand at checking the walls for concealed doors or compartments.

Books are one thing. Locked containers are another. Books are written to store and share knowledge. Locks are meant to protect.

Besides, after studying this book, this stream ogmagical healing seems to be in a different part of the region.

It is a good alternative if this rumour of magical ponds here turns out to be false though.

    ...I will not help...

"What else is new?" Jaheira was in an ill temper, as she still felt rather stiff, and that wasn't the worst of it. The sense of helplessness, while held by those unnatural magics, was horrible. To Alora, and more loudly, she said, "It does not make sense for so much gold to be here. This does seem more a lure and a trap than anything we've seen yet. Have a care."

"Given that empty drawers are trapped in this place it does seem unlikely a trove such as this would go unguarded, but even without a trap such wealth could prove to be a curse."

Ajantis closes his eyes and concentrates on the room, sensing for any evil creatures hidden from view.
