OOC: Having trouble determining if it's worth going down, or not. I think, ideally, we'd stick together, but not sure what the party wants. Jaheira will go down, especially if the only other option is being stuck with Anomen
OOC: We need to go down so that we have fighters and casters in the front and in the back for tight spaces. So far it is Alora leading and detecting traps, followed by Minsc and Aerie (Tank and heal support), then Jaheira, now Ajantis (out of turn... paladins take up the rear.) , once there is room down there I am going to suggest Neera to go, followed by me with the dwarf pulling up the rear so we have someone with some form of night vision in the rear. So with that:
*waving his hand to shoo the mage away* Just go in the hole, Neera, before we lose them.
Jaheira follows Neera, so as to make Anomen the last man out. "I prefer to be out of doors," she muttered, on the way down, liking this spelunking experience less and less with every foot traveled.
You creep past a small chamber to the north filled with a glowing stone, and the corridor turns, running south and east. to the east, you can hear the monsters. Inside are 5 Hobgoblins arguing over a shiny silver bracelet.
Neera attempts to whisper the following to Alora, "Pssstt. . . Alora, you should take the shiny bracelet and plant it on one of the Hobgoblins. That would be hysterical!"
Aerie nods. Shaking like a leaf from being so far underground, she casts the spell. One of the Hobgoblins yawns in the middle of its argument, Then, they sink to the ground, deeply asleep.
Alora wants to head back to the small chamber with the glowing stone. We'd probably better go quickly and quietly so the hobgoblins won't know we were ever here.
Jaheira could only imagine the chaos when the hobgoblins awoke, wondering how the bracelet was gone, and which one was responsible. Chuckling, she determined that their simple minds would probably never figure it out.

OOC: uh huh. Says the one not in the rear.
Alora, that bracelet does not belong to you. Return it to those creatures at once. It might be special to them, like a wedding band.
Alora hands the bracelet to Anomen. "You can take it back to them. They've probably woken up by now so I'm sure they will be pleased to see you. They'll probably offer you a reward or ask you to stay for tea and cakes or something."
Alora then ignores Anomen and goes off to search the small chamber with the glowing stone.
"So we're stealing it just to give it back? That seems counter-productive," Neera shrugs before continuing, "But hey, what do I know? I'm just a crazy mage that can't control her magic sometimes."
Alora is chuntering to herself: "Anomen's right. I expect that the hobgoblins bought the bracelet with their hard-earned money they got from doing an honest day's work because that's the kind of thing hobgoblins do. And those axes and spiked clubs they carry are just to defend themselves and they probably bought them too. So we should leave them all their weapons because it would be stealing to take them off them. In fact I don't know why we don't just give them all of our weapons and all of our money because they're probably quite poor. And then we could just take all out clothes off, baste ourselves in honey and cook ourselves over a fire because they might be hungry too."

Neera goes down the hole.
OOC: Nope. He isn't telling her. He is just subtly throwing out tactical advice at this ragtag group and seeing if any of it sticks.
OOC: Sorry, fell asleep after dinner.
