"I don't like mushrooms but we're going to have to go and explore. I bet there is something important about that Z&R carved in the wall. I bet it hides a secret door."
Alora kicks up a veritable blizzard of mold and fungal spores in her wake. She realizes she is having trouble breathing, and she has turned multiple colors as the mold spores settle on her body. Also, she's a little too short to reach the cartouche with the initials on it. She is going to need some help to reach it.
Alora will dampen her handkerchief with water and then tie it over her nose and mouth in an attempt to stop breathing in so many spores. She will then get a piggyback off Arkanis so she can examine the cartouche.
Arkanis wades through the fungipocalypse and gives Alora a lift on his shoulders. The cartouche is crusted with fungi and spores that turn her fingers and Arkanis into color-streaked versions of themselves. It feels as though the depressions once held something. There are ridges inside them that seem like they should have held something in. The bubbled out area holds a single something pinkish- Alora can't tell what it is with all the fungi stuff on top of it. She is able to pry it out with her fingers as the fungi and molds have made the stone edges crumbly, but she'll have to get out of here and rinse it off to see what it actually is.
She and Arkanis look like they have been to the Hindu festival where they throw colored powders in the air (Holi). Arkanis looks like a technicolored Dwarf, and Alora isn't too far behind that.
Jaheira didn't think to worry about the fungi all that much, pleased as she was to find a hint of nature in these environs. However, it did make sense to give them a better inspection, as subterranean nature was not her strongest point. There were elves, who chose to live in these dank and dark surroundings, but she was not one of them. "Let me have a better look," she said, before taking one.
She then ties her handkerchief back over her face and re-enters the room to do a thorough search for secret doors (and in an attempt to make herself all the colours of the rainbow).
Okay, with nowhere else go go, you go back out the door and around and find yourself back at the entrance to Quasqueton. From here, there is a door to the north you never explored in or you can head east and try your luck there.
This appears to be the remains of a kitchen, full of equipment, but strangely, no real food supplies, save for some rotted, unidentifiable grains, and a real unpleasant patch of mold that looks like it was once a substantial wedge of cheese. The odor of the rots and mold makes this a very unpleasant place to be . The room is long, with a long east-west section and a short, north-running 20' section that ends in a door (but you have already explored in that direction).
The only direction left to go from here is east and south.
South it is. You head straight south past the turn to the east. The corridor runs for 70', then bumps out to the west by 10', then runs straight south again for 50', then turns east for 140'. At 140', you see a door to the north. The corridor ends 20' later, at another door to the north.

Alora goes to explore.
OOC: Oh, my heart is broken!
Arkanis steps closer. "Maybe you should climb on my shoulder for better reach and clean air"
Maybe Minsc can give her a boost instead there dwarf and careful around the fungi... it seems to be getting air borne. Breath in it in might be fatal.

Once she is out of the room she will use some water from her flask to rinse of the pink thing she found.

"Jan would surely have an intresting story to tell in relation with the state of this kitchen. Rotted cheese and vegetable can be nasty."
