None of the books or scrolls seem to focus on this place. All are about outside things and are things you'd find in a wizard's library- except no spell books or spell scrolls.
While she hadn't been able to find any books about the pools, or anything magical, Aerie wondered... Could there be a secret passageway hidden somewhere, ready to be unlocked at the tilt of a book? Or perhaps she could find the diaries of those who'd lived here?
Likely not. If Alora hadn't found a secret passage, there probably wasn't one here, and Aerie doubted that anyone would stick their private diary on a random shelf in a library, where anyone could find or read it. Still, it couldn't hurt to keep an open eye as she searched.
OOC: I'm half-hoping that Aerie accidentally finds a secret passage in all this. Long-shot, but hey.
OOC: Aaaah! Alora is about to set loose the GLOWING BLOOD BEETLES! Run for your lives!! Okay, seriously, they're probably just baby fire beetles.... Aaaah! Alora is about to set loose the GLOWING FIRE BEETLES!
"I'm not going to let them out the cage Ajantis. I was only going to move the cage if they couldn't get out." Alora is now worried. Do fire beetles breathe fire, she wonders?
Okay, you take the corridor, which curves to the north. The corridor swings around, describing half-circle, before heading south. At the end of the half-circle, the corridor leads south for 60' before turning a corner and heading west again. After 30' you find yourself in a 20' wide corridor. To the south, were the two rooms with the hidden doors that you found to the east almost back when you first entered the complex (hidden under moss). You also recall finding a door to the west (also hidden under moss) that you never entered. To the south and slightly west, the corridor angles, still traveling south, until the corridor comes to a sharp point before heading east and south once more. (Picture to come)
Alora opens the door to find that the entire space within is one room, a storeroom by the looks of it. There are approximately 60 barrels and casks, and they only take u a small part of the open room, with some to the north and the rest to the south with a wide-open space between. Each cask and barrel is labeled with a two-letter code, but which you can't decipher (except that you have a small cask of SD- Hard Candy and a cask of UT- Ale with you from one of the earlier rooms.
Jaheira found the casks and barrels to boring, as she doubted there were any quality elven wines in them. It made her suspect that this magical fountain was a myth, which then made her wonder if the cleric would reinstate the fatal illness on Anomen as payback for the party's failure in the quest. She'd probably get the woman to leave Alora alone, of course...
"I see. Maybe i come back later for these, but now i'm eager to find those pools of water. Otherwise, water or not i think our trip to here was not completly a waste of time. If all else fails we have enough wealth to pay the clerics' service in gold. But now, just keep on going."
Once everyone has finished looking through the room Alora (fortified by more hard candy if she managed to find it) will head back into the corridor that heads diagonally south west before turning sharply south east. She will keep following that until it turns south.
"I'm beginning to think this pool will be in the last place we look. Well, I guess it would have to be, actually. We would hardly keep looking after we found it, would we? Nevermind, carry on."
Alora is starting to feel despondent. "I don't think we're ever going to find the pool. We've looked everywhere and it isn't anywhere. And if we don't find it the druid lady will turn me back into a big balloon. And I don't want to be a big balloon."
In looking through the room, you find: A coil of very heavy rope, 200' in length A box of iron spikes (50) A box of metal nails A pile of wooden beams, each 10' in length and 6" by 6" in width (80) A sack of building mortar, almost empty A stack of stone blocks, each about 6" by 6" by 12" in size (400) Six wooden doors, leaning in a row against a wall A large box of assorted hardware (including several locks of various types, door hinges, clasps and hasps, door handles, assorted metal bolts, and similar items) A jug of dried glue
The First room (with the casks and barrels) had: 2 Wheat flour (Labeled B ) Seasoning/ Cinnamon (Labeled QS) 5 Dried Mushrooms (Labeled JS) 3 Raisins (Golden) (Labeled HU) 3 Fish in Brine (Labeled EJ) 3 Salr Pork (Labeled MK) Salt (Labeled LC) 4 Dried Apples (Labeled Y) Seasoning/ Pepper (also labeled QS) 3 Regular Raisins (Labeled HU) Seasoning/ Anise (Labeled QS) 3 Dill Pickles (Labeled GG) 5 Hard Candy (Labeled UT) 4 Lard (Labeled VW) 3 Sunflower Seeds (Labeled RH) Seasoning/ Cardamom (Labeled QS) Seasoning/ Vanilla (Labeled QS) Seasoning/ Hot Pepper (Labeled QS) 2 Water (Labeled OG) 3 Whole Barley (Labeled TL) Honey (Labeled Z) 2 Elven Wine (Labeled AW) Soft Soap (Labeled XR) Whole Peas (Labeled PF) Dwarven Ale (Labeled SD) Seasoning/ 5 Spice

"Hm. . . I'll be back soon."
Neera is going to try and look for a book on Wild Magic.

"What do you think about sticking the beetles?"
When the party is ready Alora will take the corridor that goes north and then east.
