"Secret door! We have to go through the secret door!" Alora is convinced secret doors mean treasure. And as everyone knows, paladins are all about the treasure.
"The best of them are," Jaheira agreed, even though she suspected the two boring paladinial types were sure to disagree. Not that she cared, of course, for it was far more enjoyable to antagonize them than it was to do just about anything else. At least, anything that couldn't be done under the stars in nature's garden (with her husband, of course!).

Sorry, everyone! Been having RL problems. Anyhow...
The room beyond the secret door is almost kidney-shaped, and the furnishings are spartan, almost utilitarian. The walls themselves, unlike the rest of the walls in the complex, are covered in rough-finished fir wood, narrow planks that run from the floor to the ceiling in a single piece. The construction is neither remarkable nor fancy in any respect, but is very pleasing to the eye nonetheless.
The four curved corners of the room are each covered with a tapestry 6' wide and 8' high. The subjects are: a dragon being slain by a group of warriors, with one being depicted prominently at the front, thrusting the killing sword into the dragon's neck; a great battle in a mountain pass, with a band of fighters being led by a single warrior and wizard putting an army to flight, the warrior being at the front of the battle; a warrior and a beautiful woman on horseback in the mountains, holding hands with an expression of joy on their faces, and the last of a warrior and wizard against a sunset backdrop, shaking hands firmly on top of a hill. Each of the tapestries are panoramic in scope.
To the right of where you entered is a bed with a frame made of marble, and a feather mattress. The baseboard has an engraved "R" on it.
There is a free-standing cabinet of wood holding cloaks, a leather vest, buckskin shirt, metal corselet and a pair of boots to the south of the bed. Next to it is a simple stool carved of wood. There are no other furnishings.
Alora will carefully go into the room. She will start by checking behind the tapestries for secret doors. After that she will do a thorough search of the room, checking the walls, the bed, the cabinet (looking for secret compartments) and the stool.
She will also look at the boots and the corselet to see if they seem special.
She will also ignore Anomen when he inevitably points out that there clearly isn't a magical pool in here and we have no right to be searching someone's private chambers.
Jaheira wouldn't go quite that far, but held her peace. About that subject, at least. After all, she still was Jaheira... "Why must we linger here when there is a well to be found?"
Neera will sit next to Anomen, "Could you imagine if we were like that? You driving your spear into a dragon's neck, me using my vast arcane powers to drive away opposing armies; it'd be Romantic! Er, I mean that in a literary sense. Not a 'Romantic Love' sort of sense."
*cough*
Neera quickly says, "I'll, um, go see what the others are doing," as she gets up and sort of acts like she's doing something important.
"Someone's cheeks are burning," Alora hods her hands up to Neera's face as if it is really hot. "Toastie on Neera! Toastie on Neera! Has anyone got any marshmallows?"
"Just shove it open, already," an impatient Jaheira urged, for she'd had more than enough of these subterranean hollows. It was unnatural to spend so much time beneath the surface. How she wished for the power to fill all of it in, wound upon the earth that it was.
Okay. The secret door opens on a dark, cold space lightly festooned with dusty cobwebs and a thick layer of dust on the floor. The passage leads south and ends at a secret door not exceptionally well-concealed from this side.
Alora will go down the corridor, tapping the floor in front of her with the tip of her sword in case the the thick layer of dust is concealing some kind of trap. She will also keep an eye out for spiders.
When she gets to the not-so-secret secret door she will check for traps before opening it.
There are no traps on the second secret door, or in the corridor. The door opens into a 20' wide by 40' long room. It is tastefully decorated, but she can also see three dead-looking bodies pushing at a door to the south. When they turn to face her, she can see the rotting skin and smell the stench of Ghasts.

Alora stands well out of the way.

OOC: Aerie (tries to) Turn Undead. Also, can you believe that according to my browser's spellcheck, undead isn't a word? For shame.
