Ooh, I'm a portrait now! That's so surreal, but also really cool ^_^ And the cool thing is I usually play a Paladin, so that's ideal for me too! Thanks @lolien
@Xeroshi, what is the character? I'd be interested to hear how she does ^_^
first time I tried to "baldurize" a portrait myself. let me know what you think of my poor photoshop skills ;D used the Sean Connery portrait by KarWal Entertainment as the base
@DMK My first thought was a high level barbarian or ranger wearing white dragon scale armour. (because those two classes benefit most from the armour) For a first attempt it's really great. I love the all white style.
Edit: Just noticed the heterochromia. Super cool. Do you actually have it?
@Elrandir no, i don't have heterochromia. just thought it fits well for a Bhaalspawn.
@Aedan actually yes, I had more fun than I expected with the first one. right now the shortlist is either the 2013 Lara Croft, german actress Sophia Tomalla or a random model. but i'm still lookin for options, so we'll see
'sup.. perhaps someone very special would like to take care of this pic, and 'baldurize' it a little foe my ? Additionally, replace those rags + collar and remove goggles and their "mark/tint/leftover?" - or dirt, could be a better option. . maybe some brushies on the background? (and cropping ofc)
hey guys, i saw this picture of Iska Ithil and noticed she has some pretty "elven" features. i though she'd be cool as elven thief/assassin style character
@smeagolheart , I think those base pictures look incorrectly aspected, as though they came from a 4X3 screen stretched to 16x9. The faces and body proportions look shorter and wider than normal.
@smeagolheart , Yes, when I said "base pictures" what I meant was that it looked like there was a problem with the originals. That's just my perception though - I'm unusually sensitive to unnatural aspecting ever since high definition widescreen TV started to be a thing. I've got a friend who watches every 4x3 show on stretch, and I keep telling him I don't see how he can stand it. But apparently it doesn't bother a lot of people like it does me.

Thanks for @Jairyanna for providing the photo for it.

Very nice indeed! I like it!
You should consider the chance to add a more detailed background (dungeon, city, forest ecc.).
but I kinda like the "clouds" of the original style portraits, so I stole from mazzy
edit: far from satisfactory, but ok for the first try

Yes, now it is perfect! Brava!
Are you considering the chance to draw more portraits? What would you like to try for the next creation?

Black people would be nice as well, since they are pretty rare.
Keep up the good work and have fun!
still messing around with all the tools and filters, I think I need a few more trys to reach perfect satisfaction
Well done! We have another promising artist! Urrah!
@ineth, we have another portrait for your gallery

T.H.A.N.K.S!
anyone wanna try baldurizing it?
A character in the works. She's a half-Kozakuran mercenary. As you can probably tell the hair's not quite done yet (it comes in several colors, btw)
used this method for a quick portrait

And the Mamoa picture is meant for a dwarf. Not bad for a first attempt
Doesn't have a big head like the original portraits do ...
