"Pain is to be endured, but my goddess allows such for those in dire need. I shall carry this and, if there is no more dithering, allow someone else to lead."
"It is my greatest wish to see Boo pleased. I apologize if I have not done so in the past. It is hard for someone weak and frail such as myself, caught in his own fears all the time. I am truly glad to count you and Boo as friends."
Yes Edwin would by his time, convince the idiot they were friends...
Ignoring Edwin for the moment, Minsc announced, "Magic is impressive. But, now, Minsc leads. Swords for everyone!" He then looks about the room for the direction most likely to take them toward evil.
"With your consent, Lady, perhaps I will retain posession of the vial, for now. I suspect my mercies may be more tender than yours." Yoshimo offers a shallow bow and puts the vial carefully into his pack.
"Yes. I will..." Looks about for the best direction. When there are four to choose from, however, it means that there might be five times the evil. Maybe six!
"We will stay down here. What evil goes up, must come down," Minsc reasoned. He points toward the door at the end of the corridor. To Yoshimo, he said, "You will see if there is evil trap on door." If not, they would burst through and evil would be sent, shrieking into the darkest corners of the room, ready to receive sword and boot.
With a shrug as her fellow Kozakuran plucks the vial from her hands, Tamoko returns to playing with Maise. At the moment she's tossing her onto Edwin's back, smiling at the screech of outrage as Maise's claws sink in enough for her to climb to his shoulders and leap from there back to Tamoko. Tamoko repeats this process at least half a dozen times, ignoring any Edwin-esque jabs he might have for her.
Minsc glared at the evil Tamoko and warned, "This behaviour must not continue. Feel the burning stare of my hamster and change your ways." After all, Edwin had learned to be a good Man-Witch and, therefore, should be spared further humiliation.
