Maise has set her sights high, and Milo just might wake only to find his catnip has been POISONED. Oh yes. It's actually marijuana...Blackguard cats have it good apparently.
Okay, there is still the door in the east wall, the stairs, and outside the room, the corridor after the bend to the east, ends in a door about 13' down the hall.
Yoshimo steps away from the door and draws his bow before making a courtly bow towards Minsc. "No traps, no locks. If you are recovered from the insect poison, by all means, make a grandiose entrance."
Tamoko casts Sanctuary on herself, walks to the door Yoshimo pointed at and opens it.
OOC: If I can't make simple, non-aggressive actions like opening a door while inside while inside a sanctuary bubble spell (without it disappearing), then ignore.
Minsc tries to bow in return, but he's still a bit too wobbly for that. He pushes the door open. And you find... a scullery,
This room has suffered the effects of damp and decay more than the rest of the house. Mold grows in patches on the floor, walls and ceiling; there are many cobwebs, but even these are decaying. A copper boiler: dented, split, discolored and empty, stands under the window. A small heap of crockery shards is on the floor under it. Stairs lead down into the darkness of what is probably a cellar.
"This place is a festering boil on the backside of Faerun," Yoshimo declares as he walks gingerly into the scullery. He carefully makes his way to the cellar stairs to have a look. If the floor feels spongy, like it's about to give way, he will do his best to leap back to solid ground.
@Evinfuilt Given the way Tamoko and Minsc have been leading, I am not sure you won't be here soon...
I have to remind myself this isn't Tomb of Horrors. Reading the word "mold" gave me shivers.... Time to warm up my male chavunist attitude... Nahhh, I'll just go the evil closeted Oscar Wilde route.
When I get to the stairs, I give them a very thorough going-over. Looking for weak bits, evidence of Enormous Weasel poop, and if it seems clearly, I go downstairs slowly and check the basement door.

*Sits down on the floor, brings Milo out of his pack and starts petting his fluffy soft fur. Milo purrs with delight.*
"You want a little snack? Here's a little dried fish, my little shnookums. Who's my wittle shnookums? Milo is! Oh yes you are, yes you are!"
*Milo's glaze over from the spiked catnip and a big smile appears on his face.*

Maybe I should rename Milo to Mr. Bigglesworth.
