    Tamoko approaches the southern door and...placing Minsc in front of her (somehow), opens the door by reaching up under his arm to turn the knob (or whatever they use).

    Someone light a lantern... I think we should go check where that scream came from. Maybe one of the villagers has been capture by the evil in this house.

    Yoshimo pulls a torch from his bag. "I have torches, but not a lantern. If we are careful, it should suffice. Perhaps the light will dispel some of the...ominous atmosphere...around the basement."

    Okay, Mazzy takes a torch and goes down the steps. This time, it's quiet. She finds herself in a 25' by 40' wine cellar. The wine racks are pretty much empty and broken, and there is the corpse of a man in plate mail at the foot of the stairs. His belt pouch is slit open and empty, a long sword lies by his side, and a medium shield across his legs.

    Yoshimo sighs and joins Mazzy. The absence of the screaming settles his nerves somewhat, and he doesn't want to leave her down there alone.

    Wine now... The horrors I saw today could make any man cry. That woman, her skin was like a badger, her hair was that of a mole and her eyes... *shivers* but her jewelry *looks in his palm*

    It was fake. How could I fall for it *takes a swig of the wine*, she knew what I was attracted to, baited me into her room. Take advantage of me. Seems I knew her sister, and the thugs in the closet were meant to make me pay. Well now Eldoth is gone... *stands and raises a glass*

    Tamoko joins Mazzy, actually beating Yoshimo down the stairs. When she sees the corpse, however, she backs well away from it. Back up the stairs a bit actually.

    He's been dead for at least a couple of weeks. As soon as you touch him, his flesh starts to bubble and erupt as six worm-like things rise out of his flesh. Yoshimo, still not quite recovered from that earlier scare, screams like a girl. It's sickening and gross as the worms launch themselves at him... Luckily, he's already running for the stairs.
