    I was thinking the cellar would be a single room. If it isn't, yes, let's clear the ground level before going up or down stairs.

    As soon as you set foot on the stairs, a scream, like a damned soul screaming in agony, wafts up the stairs. Yoshino runs like a girl. So do Minsc, Kivan and Tamoko. Only Mazzy is unaffected (having made her save).

    Tamoko just stares blankly at Kivan...though she does give her whip a couple twitches, to and fro.

    I'll use my incredible wisdom to determine if that was an actual scream or just some kinda spell. Fear spell or something. Because screams of agony usually DRAW tamoko to their source, not have her flee from them.

    OOC I'm guessing that whatever is causing the disturbance is down in some network of tunnels or sunken streets or something accessible from that basement. We could make sure there's nothing else in here and then proceed downstairs.

    OOC: Unbeknownst to Mazzy, Tamoko has tied both of her feet together while she was...day dreaming. Thus, her first step sends her head first down the stairs...and to her dooooooooom.

    The Western hallway has two doorways almost parallel at about 15'-18' down the corridor, the closest door to the north, the other to the south, and a doorway at the end of the hall at about 22' to the west.
