And if you move her and open her wounds, not even the cleanest inn will help her survive. And there are no clean inns in town.!

Minsc felt an urge to drop to his knees and used the hilt of his Miniature Giant Space Sword to steady him. "I need aid," he grumbled. What would Boo do, lost in a world of non-hamster speakers and without Minsc armor, in which to hide? The thought was truly terrifying.

Sit down Minsc, let me see those wounds.

Maise starts kneading around the wound...is it...perhaps...YES IT IS. Maise just happens to be a paladin kitty and she just laid on paws. Did that bring Tamoko back?

OOC Do cats pray to Bast? :)

"You make a fair point, halfling. I suppose there is nothing to be done but guard her until she recovers. I should not be surprised, we were fools to believe that our pitiable band could stand up to our enemies."

"I think Mazzy is correct. We should rest here and make our companions as comfortable as possible. Hopefully, when the masochistic cleric awakes, she will be inclined to heal her own wounds as well as Minsc's. The trauma of movement may be too much for them in their weakened states."

Minsc had no reason to argue, and no reason to mistrust the small, but mighty, half-warrior. "It is big enough for Boo to use for a hiding place." Perhaps that would be useful, one day, but not this day.

Evil characters can't be paladins. At best Maise is a blackguard and just did cause light wounds and killed you.

"There's still the room," Mazzy points out, helpfully. "We might find something in here to save them." Unseen by the others, she touches her hand to Tamoko's head, murmuring words of entreaty to Avoreen.

    Tamoko wakes up.

Edwin dreams of cotton candy, unicorns and playing catch with his father, a horrifying nightmare indeed.

OOC hey I didn't know I had any innates :)

Yoshimo nods curtly and begins searching the room for anything useful--or profitable. No point in doing the same job twice...
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
Minsc finds himself uplifted by the inherent goodness of Mazzy. One day, perhaps she, too, would find a Miniature Giant Space Hamster to guide her to greater goodness. Perhaps...

Tamoko continues to lie on the floor, soaked in her own blood and that of the weasel. Playing with Maise, the blackguard kitten. She brings out a miniature wooden sword and sheathe from somewhere and Tamoko straps it to the feline's back. Loud purring fills the room.

    @Delvarian Worse... Balloonicorns!

Yoshimo finds a not-very hidden moving stone in the fireplace, Inside is a small metal box, locked. He finds no traps on it, and when he gets it unlocked (it takes a few tries), he finds a gold ring, and a glass phial holding a dark green potion that smells of honey (2 doses).
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
"Boo has a question," Minsc asked aloud. "What is it that you have found? He is curious. Curiosity might kill the cat, but it makes the hamster smarter. Such is the way of things."
  • jhart1018jhart1018 Member Posts: 909
Yoshimo pockets the ring for now, but brandishes the phial aloft. "This might help, but I don't know what's in the bottle. It smells of honey. Can someone more learned than me identify this substance? I do not wish to poison our friends."
  • CommunardCommunard Member Posts: 556
"Might I examine those items? Perhaps they might provide some futile aid to our search..."
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
"From the bees of evil comes the honey of..." Unable to think of anything suitably clever, Minsc concluded, "evil."
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
DM: And none of the Mages took identify. Of course!

Tamoko feels a horrible, grinding pain in her belly from where the weasel bit her. Not fun. Getting hurt was not fun... now, the pain, that was a different matter...

    OOC: disturbing video lol.

And of course the one time Edwin could be of use he's unconscious.

"I'm going to sit down for a while."

*Sits down on one of the torn couches. Got to recover that 1 lost hp somehow.*

Mazzy whispers to Tamoko I saved you human. Now go help Minsc before he bleeds to death.
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
OOC: Potion of Alignment Reversal! Anyway, I didn't think of healing - was too much in the high level thought process from the Chamber of Dead PC's

Yoshimo holds out the vial for Xan to inspect. "Any ideas? Otherwise, I shall ask the Thayan when he regains what senses he has."

OOC: it's been a while since I played AD&D 2E, is there no way to identify non-magically? Like Knowledge(Arcana) in later editions?
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
Xan has no idea what the potion is. He touches it, and it doesn't burn his skin, at least. The tiny bit he dabs on his tongue is tart, but gives him no clue as to what it might be

    OOC: Am I awake yet?

Lore. Thieves are better than fighters. Wizards are better than thieves. Bards are insanely good.
