Minsc felt an urge to drop to his knees and used the hilt of his Miniature Giant Space Sword to steady him. "I need aid," he grumbled. What would Boo do, lost in a world of non-hamster speakers and without Minsc armor, in which to hide? The thought was truly terrifying.
Maise starts kneading around the wound...is it...perhaps...YES IT IS. Maise just happens to be a paladin kitty and she just laid on paws. Did that bring Tamoko back?
"You make a fair point, halfling. I suppose there is nothing to be done but guard her until she recovers. I should not be surprised, we were fools to believe that our pitiable band could stand up to our enemies."
"I think Mazzy is correct. We should rest here and make our companions as comfortable as possible. Hopefully, when the masochistic cleric awakes, she will be inclined to heal her own wounds as well as Minsc's. The trauma of movement may be too much for them in their weakened states."
Minsc had no reason to argue, and no reason to mistrust the small, but mighty, half-warrior. "It is big enough for Boo to use for a hiding place." Perhaps that would be useful, one day, but not this day.

Evil characters can't be paladins. At best Maise is a blackguard and just did cause light wounds and killed you.
"There's still the room," Mazzy points out, helpfully. "We might find something in here to save them." Unseen by the others, she touches her hand to Tamoko's head, murmuring words of entreaty to Avoreen.
Minsc finds himself uplifted by the inherent goodness of Mazzy. One day, perhaps she, too, would find a Miniature Giant Space Hamster to guide her to greater goodness. Perhaps...
Tamoko continues to lie on the floor, soaked in her own blood and that of the weasel. Playing with Maise, the blackguard kitten. She brings out a miniature wooden sword and sheathe from somewhere and Tamoko straps it to the feline's back. Loud purring fills the room.
Yoshimo finds a not-very hidden moving stone in the fireplace, Inside is a small metal box, locked. He finds no traps on it, and when he gets it unlocked (it takes a few tries), he finds a gold ring, and a glass phial holding a dark green potion that smells of honey (2 doses).
"Boo has a question," Minsc asked aloud. "What is it that you have found? He is curious. Curiosity might kill the cat, but it makes the hamster smarter. Such is the way of things."
Yoshimo pockets the ring for now, but brandishes the phial aloft. "This might help, but I don't know what's in the bottle. It smells of honey. Can someone more learned than me identify this substance? I do not wish to poison our friends."
DM: And none of the Mages took identify. Of course!
Tamoko feels a horrible, grinding pain in her belly from where the weasel bit her. Not fun. Getting hurt was not fun... now, the pain, that was a different matter...
Xan has no idea what the potion is. He touches it, and it doesn't burn his skin, at least. The tiny bit he dabs on his tongue is tart, but gives him no clue as to what it might be

And of course the one time Edwin could be of use he's unconscious.
