((And I apologize. That was my first attempt, and I didn't come up with a good idea. Trying not to make it too easy, I'm afraid I've made it far too complicated))
1. Hareishan the vampire is found in the Athkatla streets at night, and later in Bodhi's lair. Her namesake Hareishan the mage is found in the Cloakwood Mine. Dark places, all of them.
2. She doesn't turn hostile if you encounter her in the streets, but you can choose to attack and kill her. If you don't, she turns into a bat (which "screams silently" i.e. uses ultrasound navigation) and disappears.
3. If you didn't kill her in the streets, she will appear in Bodhi's lair, where you have to kill her. But it won't be the last time, because you still have to go to her coffin and stab her again.
(By the way, has anyone ever wondered why vampires keep a helpful supply of wooden stakes at the entrance to their crypts?)
Oh... I had always thought that Bodhi had gone back and vampirized the Hareishan from BG1. That's why I never thought of them as namesakes: I've thought of them as the same person!

I don't think people who tend to fry themselves with their own lightning bolt in a narrow hallway qualify for vampirism
His lesser namesake might be the demon knight (if we're not talking about actual, identical given names), and both Durlag's Tower and Watcher's Keep are optional, so you might never meet them.
Kangaxx the demi-lich? (Kangaxx the lich being the lesser namesake)
Edit: If it's "real" namesakes, like mine with Hareishan, the best fit I can think of is Shandalar. The demi-lich from the Twisted Rune. His "lesser" would be Shandalar the mage from Ulgoth's Beard.

I had never heard of Andrus, but since I got a Arkanis-vibe when I read the clues I too googled it and found out.
@Skatan it is exactly Arkanis Gath! However the namesake I was thinking of was Arkanis the Dwarf (half the height, half the name) in the BG1 tutorial. Anyway, well done! Your turn.
Edit: regarding the many places, you don't just potentially meet him in the Shadow Thieves' HQ. You can also meet him at the Dockside (where he's less deadly) if you side with Bodhi, or in Bodhi's lair, if you ask the Thieves for help against her later.
Haha, I don't think I have ever bothered about the names of the temp companions in the tutorial! Had to google now just to check
Hmm ok, let me think of a new one (it's getting harder and harder considering I haven't really played the game for a few years for any substantial lenght of time).
1 It may be fun outside, but inside there's imminent battle
2 Choose to interfere or not, it's your choice but be careful how you reply

5. I'm not a joinable NPC.
6. Before you kill me, I'm not alive either.

It's good to set hard ones, @Arvia @semiticgod set a stinker earlier. It makes it more fun when it's a challenge!

@Stromael is next!
o 1) to use them as toothpicks.
o 2) they are tired of their soul less ever lasting not life.
o 3) they are not so smart.
you can not answer to the poll.
you can like the post, but it will not be counted as a valid answer to the poll.

3. Fear my vengeance.

4. Shadows, not magic, are my power.
(Isn't the Rune lich called Shangalar?)
Huh, I never noticed... details!
5. It is real namesakes. (Sorry, I'm uncreative/inspired by @Arvia 's challenge. )
6. Magic isn't my thing, in spite of my name's connotation.
7. Many possible places we might meet, but always with your sworn enemies near, whether old or newly-found.
1. My namesake is my lesser. Andrus Gath?
2. You might never meet either. If you don't attack those you shouldn't attack, he doesn't spawn
3. Fear my vengeance. Nigh unkillable and with close to instadeath attacks
4. Shadows, not magic, are my power. Shadow thief
5. It is real namesakes. (Sorry, I'm uncreative/inspired by @Arvia 's challenge. ) Gath, obviously
6. Magic isn't my thing, in spite of my name's connotation. Arkanis sounds magicky.
7. Many possible places we might meet, but always with your sworn enemies near, whether old or newly-found. This one I'm a bit unsure of.
