    1. Madele staves off death by killing and eating rats in her cage. Her god, Bhaal, is long-dead, but she does not believe the priestess of Cyric who taunts her with that knowledge.

    2. Madele wanted to kill her captor, but you did it for her. She doesn't mind losing her chance at revenge, though.

    3. She lost her god, her freedom, and her sight, but she waited for her salvation for years without losing hope.
