Beamdog is headed to PAX West next week to mingle with gamers, give away prizes, and reveal what’s to come at the official Beamdog PAX Panel.

The panel will be on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 1 pm PDT in the Hydra Theatre, and livestreamed on Beamdog’s Twitch Channel and on PAX2.

Here’s why you don’t want to miss it:

D&D Announcements

Beamdog CEO, Trent Oster will be revealing some exciting news for Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. Alongside Beamdog, Wizards of the Coast Senior Producer for Digital Content, John Feil, will be there to lend his perspective on classic D&D games.

Portrait Prizes

Beamdog will be giving away two major prizes during their panel.

Audience members have a chance to win a Baldur’s Gate style portrait that may make an appearance in the Enhanced Edition family of Beamdog games.



We’ll be drawing two winners:

One person who asks a question during the panel’s Q&A will be drawn as the winner! Get your questions ready!

Watch us online! One viewer on Beamdog’s Twitch livestream of the panel will be selected to win!

Secret Guests

Watch out for a secret guest on the panel to announce something exciting for the Enhanced Edition family of games. You’ll have to tune in to find out more!

    Nah. I doubt it is IWD2. It's for the Enhanced Edition family of games.

    If I had to bet, they are coming to new platform... like Switch.

    Hmm. An Expansion to BG2: EE that resolves the Soul Taker dagger plot hole? *shrug* If it isn't that, then maaaaaaaaaybe, IWD2: EE.

    can be to a new game rather then really EE game but of Beamdog family ........

    If it is IWD2:EE, the next time Beamdog says, we can’t/aren’t working on this game because X, I will not believe them.

    Well, they said that they can't because they don't have the source code. Them finding the source code wouldn't make their previous statement any less true. All it would mean is that the factor that was preventing them from doing so was resolved.

    I would be pretty excited for Icewind Dale 2 EE but i wont hold my breath. A new expansion for baldur's gate 2 would be pretty awesome though.

    Oops, forgot about the important EE series we need to prepare for gold box - Eye of the Beholder EE, plugging the old assets into the NWN engine, while upgrading NWNEE to 1st edition rules!

    So, only one day till our PAX panel.

    Today's stream will happen as usual, at 10am PT.

    I know it, GOG, gave it up, ICEWIND DALE 2, is real finally, LOL, I only hope, if nope, we will see. Hey I can hope right I been through a lot, I have the right, right?

    any news? about new game?
    I received an official message that it seems that reverse engineering in ID2 would not work then what other possible release? ToEE? or ArcaniumEE?
