I don't think so -I havent seen it my self - isn't it a +2 club?
Youy get the +2 Club from Amarande in the Treehouse, but the +2 Quarterstaff from Laskal near the Bridge. I probably wouldn't have noticed if playing Good, but my evil party kills most NPCs it encounters :-)
The stupifier is really ridiculously good. Stun without a save? Thats better than the FOA's legendarily good slow without a save. If you gave me this in Throne of Bhaal, there are quite a few enemies it would be worth using on, Mace should be the go to weapon in BG:EE.

I wonder whether magic resistance affects it or not. But there is a more important question: can you stun with it creatures that are immune to +1 weapons.
No- it would have no effect. But for any for any creature without immunity to stun and/or +1 weapons, it may well be the best weapon all the way to TOB because Stun is a fantastic effect to give out with no save, which I believe would include a significant number of enemies even at that stage- I mean thats really what people love Celestial Fury for, and it allows a save!
I don't think its unreasonable for me to say I probably shouldn't be able to walk into Beregost and just pick up a weapon I think it would be nice to have in Throne of Bhaal...
Edit: Oh, and no, magic resistance doesn't work against weapon enchantments.
It's +2 platemail (AC1) found on the ground in the Undercity just west of the entrance to the Temple of Bhaal. It weighs 20, has a fairly cool red glow effect and is not flagged as magical and so can be worn with rings/cloaks/amulets of protection. It can replace full plate with no drawbacks at all.
Looks like it'd be a cool-looking suit of armour for a Blackguard or evil fighter. A pity it's available only immediately before the final battle.
@Corvino: don't forget that full plates have an extra +4 AC against slashing, and +3 AC against missile and piercing weapons, whereas plate mails only receive +3 AC against slashing, so it's not quite the same.
I can see putting the mace on a fighter with as many APR's as you can get at your level / skills / equipment / haste and just locking a dragon down for the entire battle if you had access to this in BG2.
Right, a lot of boss fights have stun immunity for BG2 but there is still a huge number of characters it would work on. At least FOA slow isn't essentially instant death- theres a reason Celestial Fury at least allows a save.
In BG1 you should be able to manage 3 attacks a round with it (level 7 fighter + specialistion + haste), which means you should be able to stun anything in 2 rounds, at which point it is essentially dead and just hasn't noticed yet. Really needs a saving throw added in.

@Dinsdalepiranha: I did indeed forget that. It looks cool though, which is the main reason my main wears the Helm of Glory over Balduran. Main tanks at the end of the game usually have enough miscellaneous bonuses that them getting hit isn't too much of a problem.

The only thing better than Full plate in BG1 is Full Plate +1 and the former is still better as you can wear it with a protection ring which also gives +1 to saves, the only real benefit is that it'a lighter, if the character has carrying problems.
comes with, so I can add them to the list? Also, are there any specific conditions for finding him?
He comes with a Robe of the Evil Archmagi, a Quarterstaff +1, 10 Darts of Acid, and the Cursed Ring of Ironic Punishment (grants extra spells like a Ring of Acuity, can't be removed). So far as I know, the only condition for finding him is being level 5.
I just got Elven Chain Mail from the Mage in the fight with Simmeon.
Edit: Sorry, not the Mage, but the Priest. For some strange reason.
As late as that? By then the only class it's really going to be useful for are Bards (and they'll have to do with the Shield Amulet until then), as mages will have got their robes of archmagi by then, which is better :-(

I'm currently still playing on my Tutu install so its not for me to make requests, I think

In the patch notes through the BG:EE installer, one of the fixes is listed as,
"Quiver/Case of Plenty now gives proper damage bonus."
Is this only in the Black Pits, did this exist before EE, or am I just completely crazy and haven't found it yet?
Edit: Sorry, not the Mage, but the Priest. For some strange reason.
Was it corrected with the latest patch?
Thx.
