    https://wiki.termux.com/wiki/Differences_from_Linux

    Edit your software to use Termux paths; all must begin with /data/data/com.termux/files/usr. Otherwise, use termux-chroot from the proot package.

    I'm having a problem with the weinstall lang-en_US.zip. I followed the tutorial 3 times but still I have this error:

    @Sidney Okay I'm going to give you a possible solution to this issue and also an alternative to avoid the whole centralfix thing if you feel it's tedious, (since I personally don't do that anymore.)

    1.For the direct solution related to the centralfix It seems you have not entered into the proper file environment.

    Cd storage

    Cd shared

    Cd.......... wherever you kept the lang.zip and so on

    2. Alternative to centralfix is just paste the files into the obb as so:
    303442tpblob.jpg

    So you can avoid needing to do Centralfix.

    PS: I just do this now and mod the game directly from the OBB ( cd storage, cd shared, cd OBB , cd com.beamdog.baldursgateenhancededition or com.beamdog.baldursgateIIenhancededition) or just copy from my PC into the OBB if it's a mod that takes too long to install on android as some do.
    (Though as you can see from above you might run into issues using this method if you're on Android 14+, I need to get a mew phone before testing what to do and I don't want to buy a new phone until next year)

    I have a problem with installing scs on bg2 hoped you could help me on it. Im on android 14 everything was going smoothly but it gives me this error

    @jack_spar00w in the folder you want to install the mod, the main folder of the mod should be there where the tp2 will be inside that folder.

    So basically Gamefolder/ModFolder/Tp2 of mod folder.

    Or com.beamdog.baldursgateIIenhancededition/stratagems/Stratagems.tp2 is how it would appear on mine.

    Use your file manager to makesure this is all correct as it's not an issue from your termux setup.

    I tried in many ways but it still gives me the error
    Is there a chance the mod files are not the right ones?

    @jack_spar00w looking back at your original screenshot, I realised you haven't navigated to the instsll folder itself with termix. (Didn't motoce because it's early here atm honestly)

    Type:

    Cd android

    Cd Obb

    Cd com.beamdog.baldursgateIIenhancededition

    Then start the install.

    The error got fixed but then it gives me chitin.key error
    Where should i put the chitin.key file

    @jack_spar00w Your Chitin.Key might be the issue, the one I have for BG2 on Android is 861kb while looking at yours in the screenshot, it says 857.43kb , try copy it out of the main.5826.com.beamdog.baldursgateIIenhancededition.obb again.

    I still couldn't find a way
    Thing about my obb folder is that it has 2 obb files
    And just in 1 of them there is chitin.key file

    @jack_spar00w that's how it's supposed to be, the chitin.key only exists in the main.... and the two obb files are extracted into the main folder.

    I want to suggest to you to start over from extracting all the files, but don't use zarchiver , use WinRar because I used to use Zarchiver but after an update , the thing would always do somthing weird to the files which made installing have issues, which is why I crossed it out of the guide and said use winrar.

    Unfortunately Winrar isn't as fast as Zarchiver and can't access obb, so you will have to extract them outside Obb android and then manually move them back with whichever file manager.
    Zarchiver is still good for moving and copying but just don't use it to extract any file you want to mod.

    Hi everyone!

    I'm trying to install the Shadow Magic mod but I'm receiving an error message, it can be a problem with chitin.key (a file that I have not found yet) or c0saday.spl (this one I found it so I don't think it's this one

    Ps: I found an exe file in the beginning to the files, do I need to do something with that?

    @Sidney The issue is with the c0saday.spl file itself (it's a spell file) and it having some slight incompatibility with a mod you probably installed prior.

    Try removing it from the override and then do the install.

    If that doesn't work, then it will be somthing to do with another file corresponding with that one.

    Btw post your weidu.log.

    I deleted and installed the game, maybe the files haven't been deleted in process? I haven't found anything on Override folder.

    @Sidney The weidu.log is not that it's inside the folder where you are doing the modding.

    Also whenever you install a Mod, the files ares inside the Override Folder, that's why its called the override folder, because it overrides the normal base game files.

    So if there's an issue when installing mods, it's from inside there.

    Hello.

    I'm trying to mod Bg2ee on android 14. But I can't copy the lang and override folder to the data folder.
    anyone know how I can get access?

    On the first page go down there's a comment I put on installing EET but that works for normal BG2EE.

    Just copt the folders into the obb folder as such:

    @Crubrus Depends on your file manager (and Phone Maybe)

    Try use ZArchiver for accessing, copy and pasting stuff (don't use it to compress OBB Files though, it will mess them up).

    What will always work though is Material Files, you can access the Data folder with that even, it's just finiky and tedious a bit.

    I was using material files but that won't even let me in to the obb folder.
    I'm using a Samsung s24 plus.

    @DraikenWeAre no I missed that one I suppose. But I did now and got it working. Thanks alot for the help!
    Now if I want to add more mods I just move the files back to the newly created BGmodding folder install and move back?

    Also, how do you remove mods?
