    @smyth25 got it!

    1. Tad only shows up for one dialog, but he's a tad important because he's the only way to get to the lower reaches in the Unseeing Eye quest.
    2. One of the former cultists tells you to speak with Tad but avoid Gaal because Gaal would be able to sense the presence of the fragment of the Rift Device. That dialog ends with "Speak only to Tad!"
    3. When you speak with Tad, you can point out that his suggestion is "not much of a plan."

    1. You don't know me, but I know you like a sibling.
    2. I always make a quick getaway, whether I like it or not.
    3. Fear can keep one safe at the best of times and I am no exception.

    @ZaramMaldovar Correct!

    1. Immediately recognises you as a Bhaalspawn when you first encounter him (so ultimately him and GW are half siblings)
    2. His uncontrollable teleportation ability
    3. In Saradush you can save his life by casting a fear spell on him, which restores his teleporting ability which Melissan ‘cured.’

    Let's see a third hint:

    3. A frontal assault would be suicide, look for another way.

    Captain Arat?

    @semiticgod
    I see I gave not enough information with the first two hints and too much information with the third.

    You are correct.

    1. My original purpose has been warped. Not that I really care.
    2. If you don't get it right the first time, you might want to slow down.
    3. Sorry about the monsters; this is just a pit stop.
  • AdulAdul Member Posts: 2,002
    I think it's got to have something to do with the Planar Sphere, but I can't figure out who it is. Lavok, maybe?
  • semiticgoddesssemiticgoddess Member Posts: 14,903
    Nope.

    4. I am under the influence.

    I'm not out of terrible guesses yet! The Eternal Warrior/Spirit Warrior?

    Nope.

    5. If you completely screw up, you can always use brute force... assuming you make your saving throw.
    6. Maybe you're closer than I thought.

    The Apparition for the Asylum?
  • semiticgoddesssemiticgoddess Member Posts: 14,903
    @Neverused got it! Although I think the name is "Coordinator."

    1. The Coordinator's original purpose was to test the sanity of inmates, but he mentions at the end that the new protocols suggest that you were not meant to survive the process--the riddles were designed simply to kill you. But he says that, having no free will of his own, it doesn't really matter that his purpose has been warped.
    2. If you get one of the riddles wrong, you can end up in a room with a death trap that triggers shortly after you arrive. If you move forward too quickly, the trap might crush you.
    3. You eventually end up in the troll room (at least if you answer the riddles correctly; I don't remember everything that happens if you answer them wrong), where he apologizes and says arriving in the area was a mistake.
    4. Bodhi says that the Coordinator is under her "influence."
    5. If you can't answer the riddles correctly, the Coordinator will summon a mind flayer in a final attempt to gauge your sanity, the reasoning being that a sane person would presumably be able to survive the mind flayer's mental assault. Brute force can therefore get you out of the asylum, but if you don't have immunity to stun, a single failed save against Psionic Blast could kill you.
    6. If you don't object to the prospect of being evaluated, the Coordinator will say that restraint is a good sign, and that you might be closer to release than he thought.

    You're up next!

    Ah, right, that was the official name.

    I cannot tell the gender of livestock.
    I do know the classical number of hells though.
    I might just be crazy.
  • NeverusedNeverused Member Posts: 803
    Umm. Uh. I used to give an unresolvable journal entry, but it’s since been fixed.
  • smyth25smyth25 Member Posts: 219
    @Neverused Kissiq?
  • NeverusedNeverused Member Posts: 803
    @smyth25
    Indeed! Kissiq references to Melicamp as "a fiendish hen" and "when I picked her up", so apparently can't tell that Melicamp is male. Or maybe the transformation changed genders as well as species, but...
    Kissiq also references that the hen might be in possessed by a spirit from the 9th and final hell.
    He worries that he might be mad for obvious reasons.
    Finally, before this patch (I think?) restoring Melicamp before visiting Kissiq would make a non-solvable journal entry.
