Look at this forum that is being handed to parents whose children have been taken. They are being given two choices: 1.) Your child can have an asylum hearing, but you will be deported and ostensibly never see them again. Or 2.) You can reunite with the child, and they will be denied the hearing. This is just straight kidnapping, extortion, and hostage taking at this point:

    https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4573309-Separated-Parent-Removal-Form.html

And the child concentration cages, I've heard them called Trump camps, are but one reason Trump is described as having nazi tendencies. Also he retwees and employs (and pardoned) people with white supremacist alt right racist anti-Semitic ties. Not to mention his "there's some good people" on the nazi side equivacation about Charlottesville.

If you don't want to be compared to a nazi, don't do the nazi stuff. It's simple. I get some people want to like him because he's ostensibly on your team. He's not. He's on his own side and will happily toss your interests aside when it suits him.
    Honestly. WTF IS Nazi stuff?

    His daughter is a Jew.
His son in-law is a Jew.
He works with and has Jewish colleagues.
He is trying to push the ownership of Jerusalem into the Jewish state.
He praises Israel as friend and only Democracy in the middle east.

    Has Trump gassed anyone? No
Has he put any of Americas legal citizens into death camps? No
Has he made a minority in the U.S. to wear specific identifiers? No

When we get to a fascist state in America I will be the first to let you know.
Fascism is characterized by nationalism, authoritarianism, corporatism, militarization and hostility towards both liberalism and Marxism. I agree it's clear that the US is not a fascist state, but it also seems clear to me that there has been progress in that direction over the last couple of years - so it doesn't seem unreasonable for people not comfortable with that to worry about the future direction.

As for nazism there's nothing in the political philosophy that requires anti-semitism. The doctrine of racial purity includes the belief that some humans are better than others, but doesn't require the persecution of any particular group. It's perfectly reasonable to interpret Trump's words and actions as signs that he believes that some humans are better than others (characterizing whole peoples as animals, rapists, infesting our country etc).

For clarity I'd better say that I'm referring to the political philosophy of nazism - Hitler's Germany clearly was anti-semitic. The Jews in Germany made a good target because the history of anti-semitism made it easy to whip up sentiment against them (and the opportunity to confiscate their wealth was important in the pre-war years).
So you are telling me that Trump is a Marxist, he is trying to bring in social change.

"Let the ruling classes tremble at a communist workers revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Workingmen of all countries America, unite!"

    Drain the swamp remember.
I'm afraid that I can't understand your train of thought. While I don't expect you to care about that, you've made several posts recently that seem very cryptic. If you'd like your ideas discussed, it might be helpful to explain them in a bit more detail.
It's the same song and dance by any political party. " Drain the swamp" " Conservative elites" "Tax the rich to give to the poor" " Defeat the Socialist Global elites to stop the destruction of our nation"

All political Ideologies have the same thing in common, A savior that will slay the Elites.
Here's the catch, the ones that want to slay are the dragons themselves. It was ok when Obama said he would bring change and jobs to the middle class and go after the Bankers and wall street. He even made his speech that won the election for him in Germany. ( I bought into it.) Trump says he will drain the swamp and take down the corrupt world elite and travels to every state to make sure his voice is heard by Americans. Have either of them done what they said they would...

Stop playing party politics and by their divide and conquer games.

Really? The defense spending of Finland is about 5 %.

I am surprised by your statistics, according to the Finnish government the number is 1,23%. Even if you may consider adjustment over budgetary issues, it is impossible currently for any european country to reach 5% of its GDP spending in defence. Not only that but it's not a NATO member.

    https://www.defmin.fi/en/tasks_and_activities/resources_of_the_defence_administration/finances/share_of_defence_budget_of_gdp

As far as my memory works, only Uk, France, Greece and maybe Poland are in line with NATO requirement.

Oops I was looking at the wrong graph. Of course we aren't in NATO so those reqs are irrelevant.

Look at this new Socialist Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I salute her accomplishment. Grass roots, digging deep independent style win. Now, what's her play? Slay the elites, bring real change. ( unfortunately same song and dance.) Think of the divide in the Democratic party now that they are going far left. Trump has pulled the Republicans far right. Look what the Dragons did, NO MIDDLE. No common ground, harder to come to a compromise. Divide and conquer. CNN will fall further left in their programming and Fox will fall further right. One brother rules for 4-8 yrs. Then the other gets a whirl.

If Americans cannot see this or you all find this too cryptic, then democracy in America is truly lost.

Yes Finland can't really be answered here. It's not bound but NATO treaty to spend 2% of its GDP in defence.

A 5% ratio is huge, its the kind of ratio you'd expect from heavily militarized country like Russia or Saudi or China.

Cold War numbers were a lot higher, but the world has changed.

    Drain the swamp remember.

Also here is when Marx chimed in on immigration and how it effected the working class of England.

    https://monthlyreview.org/2017/02/01/marx-on-immigration/
Drain the swamp. How's that been going anyway? It must mean something different to the cult of trump because the rest of us aren't seeing it.

Draining the swamp must mean tax cuts for the rich. Trump's children in government positions literally taking bribes for government action. Goldman Sachs officials running the government. The ceo of Exxon was approved Secretary of State. That's draining the swamp huh.
What do you think Goldman Sachs officials where doing during the Obama Presidency, counting their shekles?

    https://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevents/pressreleases/enforcement20180501b.htm

Can't remember if Obama reprimanded them. I could be wrong though.

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2009/sep/25/michael-moore/barack-obama-goldman-sachs-campaign-contributions/

"Moore said that Goldman Sachs is Obama's "No. 1 private contributor." The data shows that is correct. We rate his statement True."

    Shame...Shame...Shame...

Just some sharing here.... A couple of months ago I was having a discussion with some friends of mine. Now this Motley Crew never seems to agree with anything unless it's about Hockey. I suggested to my friends that Donald Trump would meet with Putin, eventually coming to a economic trade deal. I also said that I felt Trump would try to bring Theresa May into those negotiations as England would need the help do to Brexit. I also *tin foil hat* said that Emmanuel Macron would be swooned to join in.

So America, Russia, England and France signing their own trade agreement. I even named it the F.A.R.E. Trade Agreement between those countries. My friends laughed and hurled obscenities at me, we then continued downing the beers at our table while watching Ovechkin (Oven Chicken) drive the Caps towards a Stanley Cup.

Just putting this here in case it does happen. Proof.

Trump Voters May Be the Biggest Losers From Trump’s Auto Tariffs

BRUSSELS — President Trump has complained about seeing too many German cars on Fifth Avenue, and threatened heavy tariffs on the companies that produce them. There is a good chance, though, that those Mercedes-Benzes and BMWs were not only made in the United States, but made by workers who voted for Mr. Trump.....

UK investigates alleged Russian links to Brexit campaign

(CNN) - "As the largest backer of the campaign for the UK to leave the European Union, Arron Banks rejoiced in being called one of the "Bad Boys of Brexit." Now the UK's National Crime Agency is investigating his financial support for the campaign and his contacts with Russian officials, according to three sources familiar with the probe."

Maybe there's nothing here, but it would be foolish to not look into potential Russian influence, since they stand to gain significantly by a weakening EU. Also, Russia's had their fingers in a lot of elections as of late (US, French, German) - so why not Brexit?

There are a few in here who actually try and have a constructive dialog with their fellow forumites even though they have different beliefs, the rest just copy pasta or parrot everything from their favorite sites or scream nazi, communist or bigot like a conservative gives out tax breaks to the rich.

Sorry guys, had to be said. Against the TOS, oh well.

So Trump wants to invade Venezuela. And doesn't want to take no for an answer (a theme with him - we need to 'grab em by the midterms').

Trump repeatedly suggested invading Venezuela, stunning top aides – report
The administration officials are said to have taken turns in trying to talk the president out of the idea.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jul/04/trump-suggested-invading-venezuela-report

Venezuelas got plenty of problems but a US invasion isnt one yet.

And it's downright shocking a geriatric former reality show star has no idea how to President if only there were some signs before this!

Unfortunately you've fallen for fake news propaganda.

Supposed liberals are Walking Away from the Democratic Party and somehow the people noticing their social media posts about it are not the other liberals who you might expect to be friends and followers of liberals, but conservatives. Strange huh.

The Washington Post’s Abby Ohlheiser describes the #WalkAway phenomenon:

"A hashtag claiming to capture a movement among liberals has gone viral, in this case, almost exclusively on the right-wing Internet, as a reinforcement of one of its binding ideas."

People should free to walkaway from Trump though.

The 'hot new viral movement' uses stuff like this:

Unfortunately you have fallen for the fake news propaganda. The thought of hating or shaming someone because they have a difference of opinion. Blaming all of the worlds problems on white skin. Telling people that their opinion does not matter because they are cis white male/female.

Why would anyone be part of a Socialist movement that preaches hate for a specific skin colour. Why would anyone be part of a Conservative movement that preaches hate for a specific skin colour.

This shtick is getting old and people from both sides are walking away from the hate and vitriol. Some of us just want to get along and live in peace with all humans. ( animals too, they're cute).

I provided evidence how this is a right wing thing, not a left wing thing, and yes using bots like this. It is very possible (likely) that bots would be used more than once.

I was responded to with a strawman attack about how socialists hate skin color. Neither Ocasio-Cortez nor anyone else here in the forum has said that.

I did not attack you, I was pointing out the hypocrisy of the Socialist movement in America. If it came across like that I am sorry. Unfortunately people see what they want to see. This is a real movement by real Americans. Some right wing group jumping on for the ride does not make this movement less of a reality.

I must be a very strange conservative because I find Ocasio-Cortez to be very attractive. I'm sure that didn't hurt her campaign. This idea that conservatives are all about skin color is a little overblown. I look at Latinos and Arabics and see white skin with a nice tan. I look at Indians and Sri Lankan's and see white people with really dark tans! Asians are basically white but smaller than me. I do see Africans as black but it's no big whoop.

I'm not very religious anymore but the Golden Rule has stuck with me my whole life...
