The Thread for Mirth/Share your Laughter
We already have a thread happiness, unhappiness, and meh. I think its high time we have thread full of jovial belly laughs and incessant giggling. What has happened in your life that made you laugh? Could be a little chuckle, or a full on chortling breakdown! This isn't a thread for jokes per se ( I think we already have one). But more for sharing those little things that happen during your days that make you laugh.

I have two friends, a married couple. They have a daughter who is just about ready to enter first grade. They decided, in a gambit to parent, that because she had been asking for a bike, they would buy her one. So, they bought a bike, and then pitched to her a chore schedule with the caveat such that if she completed the schedule for a month, she would get the bike immediately as a reward. In an unexpected twist, she declared she had no interest in the bike if she had to work for it and instead offered that she would do no such chore schedule and was content not to receive the bike lol.
However, yesterday, she had been hard at work on some artsy-crafty project, and her mother asked her what was she working on. She was painting rocks. She declared then that she was painting the rocks so as to sell them on the side of the road to passersby in order to acquire the money to buy the bike from them.
The child-like innocence of this is that, this is rural Indiana and its *highly* unlikely more than 10 people drive down a given rural road in an entire 24 hour period. So, her mother acceded that she could engage in this enterprise assuming nobody would even be driving by to stop. So, this little girl makes a pathetic cardboard sign that reads "Selling rocks 1 for 2$ to buy my first bike!"
As the day wears on, a single car drives down, stops, and it's one of the neighbors, they give her 6$ and take 3 rocks. She is elated with this success in her entrepreneurial enterprise, but her mother informed her she owed them 110$ on the bike in total.
Then a bit later, another car stops. She watches the exchange from the window, and then her little girl comes bursting into the house. Slams down her 6$ from the earlier trade, and 103$ in cash. A random guy driving down the road stopped, got out of his car and bought all of her rocks for 103$ in cash.
They gave her the bike. The plan has completely back fired.
The parents even have the back up "you can't ride your bike until you do this chore," so all is not lost.

I once took the wrong exit in a roundabout and instead of telling me to go back, it told me to literally go around a freaking mountain as it was the "quickest route".
It most definitely wasn't.
For some fridge horror, consider that my sense of direction is worse than any gps could be.
