Just to control expectations: A first playthrough does not mean a game is anywhere near finished or close to release.
What does it mean then?
It means that it is possible to play through the beginning of the core story of the game to the end. This still allows for most graphics to be unfinished (placeholders can allow you to get through), voice-acting to be missing, secondary stories (like side-quests, or alternate paths in main-quests) to be unmade, a plethora of bugs creating a myriad of pitfalls that can block completion...
*Anduin sighs... He really wishes a screenshot could be shown... Although, perhaps forum traffic would overheat again*
The question is, how would they know it's from Adventure Y. It could be anything... O:)
If you have played BG as much as some of the fans here have... They would recognise adventure y from the screenshot of adventurers in a field at night by looking at the dialogue @Ardanis .
To everyone else... It would still be something to look at!
There is one out there, but it would be hard to tell - heck I don't even think the dev knew it was from adventure Y. Anyway it may not be on these forums but another place some of the devs like to hang out.
This Adventure Y business isnt going to be the Bhaalspawn waking up in Candlekeep as the last (wo)man on Toril, sitting down to start reading every book in the library when his eyes suddenly fall out, is it?
It's the first floor, I believe. And it's quite interesting. Looks like there's a bunch of NPCs (peasants and nobles, by the looks of it) on that shot that aren't normally there during a typical BG1 game.
Makes me think they might try to tackle that whole leaving Baldur's Gate "under circumstances much darker than anyone would have believed" thing. I've always been curious about that.
"Y" should those people be so concerned about that door?
Because its... THE SCARY DOOR!
You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples; it could also be something much better. Prepare to enter:The Scary Door
Doors are scary... Especially those automatic doors that open for everyone else... But not for you... As if they are judging you... Scary... AND judgemental.

Detect Undead... No home security system is complete without it!

First they came for the undead. He said nothing, he wasn't undead. Then came for the ogres, then the elementals and finally the yetis. He said nothing, this wasn't his problem afterall. Then they came for him, and no one said anything. It wasn't any of their business.

Hhmmm... I cannot remember any talk of such occurring, and those people are definitely not suppose to be there...
Is that talk about a shifty door... A narnian excuse of opening the cupboard door and ending up in another realm (map)?
I think this could be the big Y... Or a mod I have not played... Nah.. It gotta be Y!
EDIT: Nice bit of detective work @Adul & @procco !
