We actually don't own the Infinity Engine, but instead license it from EA. While I think it would be really cool for the Infinity Engine to go open source, that decision is ultimately up to them.

I think perhaps a Bhaalspawn power, you gain, then lose in BGII because of Irenicus? The "Speak to the hand 'cause the Bhaalspawn ain't listening" power. ...

Since the Find Traps toggle button is next to the "ZOMG button", it might be the new Hide in Shadows or Open Lock/Pickpocket/Disarm Trap button. So here's what we know:
1. The character can wield an axe. 2. Is a thief of some kind given the Find Traps button. 3. Can cast some kind of spell (unknown if divine or arcane). 4. The player may have the goblin selected given the highlighted circle under him. If so, this goblin can use wands and abilities listed above 5. The character has some sort of special ability. Could be either Bhaalspawn or thief setting snare ability; but it is unknown. 6. Can use divine wands and possibly arcane due to wand of fear. 7. A goblin that's multiclassed F/C/T?
I always thought of Adventure Y as additional content for BG:EE for some reason, but seeing the UI is different, it must be a separate game. I'm very curious now!
