Did you know, that if you wander off while Jondolar and Erik are attacking you the Watchers will beat them death with sticks in some sort of vicious frenzy? Here I was thinking Candlekeep was a nice safe place. . .
Did you know that I haven't slept in nearly 36 hours?
I think he thought the PC killed Tamoko and then came into Irenicus' service after Irenicus, obviously lying, promised him Charname's head then cast a geas.
@Sergio and @Mhamza I think the idea was that Yoshimo came looking for Tamoko, and entered Irenicus's service when Irenicus revealed that Tamoko was dead and revealed/intimated (depending on the choices you made) that it was at your hand. Yoshimo wanted revenge, and Irenicus promised him it would be so, but also geased him to betray you. In the game, Yoshimo comes to realize that you are not a bad sort and probably had a reason for killing Tamoko (if you did), and maybe even comes to doubt that you did kill her. But he has to betray you or die. Or both.
Did you know that Yoshimo is Tamoko's younger brother?, it sounds like fanon but David Gaider confirmed it.
One of the components of the BG2 mod Unfinished Business explores this aspect a bit further. You have the chance to take a look (or two) at Yoshimo's diary and there is a related dialog with Sarevok later on.
Really looking forward to the missing link thing! Should be very cool to see what they come up with!
Did you know that if you lead Jondolar to his death at the hands of the watchers you can grab an additional 175XP by killing Erik yourself? Not only that, but no one cares you just bashed him to death. . . they don't even bat an eyelid. Gorion just stands there all 'Get your stuff, we need to go!'
You don't need a thief with Invisibility to drop the meat. You can also use a cleric with the Sanctuary spell. Also, you can use this same trick to get the loot in the golem room without killing the golems. Have your cleric cast sanctuary, open the hidden places, grab the loot and retreat without attacking the golems. They go hostile, but the Sanctuary Spell prevents them from seeing the thief. If you send the rest of the party downstairs, you get off scott-free, because that room disappears after Tor'gal is killed.
I know about that, but I have never played so evil character, that I killed dogs...
In the non-enhanced version of BG2, I think either unpatched or without the BG2 Fixpack, the dogs would go hostile once you kill that random otyugh outside (seriously, what is an otyugh doing outdoors?) They must be really mad you killed their friend.
In Black Pits 2, The Winged (Fallen Diva) carries a custom two handed sword called Dark Justice + 5. It can't be removed from it's slot but has a custom text and some pretty savage stats.

That is true and also the reason why I always switch AI off, so none of my party members kills them, not even accidentally.:-)
"At night talk to the ghost of Ulcaster several times until your journal is updated. He wants a book, History of the Darkness, from the Vampiric Wolves room in the Ulcaster Ruins. Return with the book. Two of these books can also be found in Gullykin and one in W Baldur's Gate. Return with these books for more experience."
-I never knew that there was more than one book that you could bring to the ghost.
Also:
"Talk to Ulcaster while carrying the Ancient Armor from the Firewine Ruins and the Idol of Kozah from the Archaeological Site. He will swap these for the Cursed Vampiric Sword. The Doomsayer from the Archaeological Site must be dead for this to work."
-From what I understand, the vampiric sword does damage to the wielder while healing the target.
It's a shame that you can't get the curse taken off the vampiric sword. Or is there a mod that will do that like with the sword of berserking?
- Only had an initial save check. If you failed it you were affected by the spell for 1 turn. If an enemy wasn't in the radius when the spell was cast they wouldn't be affected by it if they moved into the old radius within that turn. - Despite its description it did not have a +3 to save against it (it required a save just with no penalty/bonus). - Despite its description it only worked on neutral NPC's and enemies, not party members. - It was usable by clerics and druids.
It is possible to kill gorion before leaving candlekeep. Atleast in original game. You have to deal alot of dmg fast. 200? 300? Ive done it for laughs with a char i imported.
If you dont kill him fast he lightinc bolts you and you die from it no matter hp. The game ends no matter what though.

Actually, he kills you with a scripted action of Kill(Player1) when attacked. I like using AoE damaging spells to kill him (Incendiary Cloud is the best alternative).
Did you know our game of bathroom Jenga continues? I was able to carefully extract the bottom left roll this morning. Jess successfully retrieved the middle one last week. The bottom right one is my next target. . .
This may be common knowledge, but I'll give it a shot anyway.
Did any of you know that Montaron's voice actor, Earl Bowen, was in "The Terminator" movie playing as "Dr. Silberman" with Lance Henricksen (Admiral Hackett of Mass Effect) and reprises his role as Dr. Silberman in Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines?

I'm suprised none of the characters, especially none of the paladins, have quotes from "Charge of the Light Brigade"

Did you know, I like that sword so much I'm going to make it usable? :P
Also! Did you know, Michael Dorn is the voice of Bhaal in the spell dream?
( Double posts are bad Calo, very bad. )
Did you know that if you click on the gear icon that appears if you hover your cursor on the top right corner of your post you can edit it? ;D
EDIT: typo (see?)

( Completely off topic, but still. )
