    With her help, you make it back through the mists unscathed. Mara stops at the passageway leading out of the cavern. "I... I am somewhat scared. If the man was lying, I might still be imprisoned here." She gulps, and steps through, and another relieved smile settles on her lips. "I AM free. Thank you again, my friends."

    "I'd tell you which way to go to get out of here, really truly out, but I'm so turned around that I don't know anymore. And, it's dangerous. There are pit traps and spike shooting traps and a green slime that killed four of our friends and orange mists that make you the opposite of what you are. I'm afraid you'll regret coming with us."

    Mara hugs everyone who wants one, and follows you back to the four way corridor, looking around curiously. "I have some minor magical talents at making food and drink, and singing to bring sleep on weary souls. If you want me to use my talents at any time, please let me know. I can also charm foes, turn invisible, and polymorph people."

    Fighting the urge.....to not make it more perverted.......

    IC: *As they leave the room, Aerie stops and looks back into the room for a moment, remembering her own cage from long ago. It was much larger, but it was no different. To be bound to any place, by anyone.....and that those who passed by did nothing to help you.....She could only feel her heart lift a little to see how mara had stayed strong throughout her own imprisonment, and wished she had strength like that.

    OOC Again: if mara is going to try to betray/trick them, aerie at this point will not be expecting it in the least. :)

    Ah. Could you perhaps polymorph Kivan into something less reprehensible? Perhaps an ogre?

    Alora gets tired of waiting for the others and goes to the south corridor and fires her sling to check for gelatinous cubes.

    I vote north, half-woman; and I suggest you lead, searching for traps and anything else you can think of.

    South it is. The thieves lead the way, checking for traps. After 50', the corridor ends in a south-facing door.

    I listen I check for traps on the door. If I fine none I unlock it. Then I stand well back while the big guys open it.
