    Late game I would say its best ability is the combination of Shadow Twin and Use Any Item. You can do a lot with that (and if you are wearing the simulacrum helmet they count separately so you can have 2 clones running around). Its great for scroll casting.

    Will not updating BG:EE to 1.3 be a problem if I do update BG2:EE when the patch for it comes out? I don't want most (Pretty much all) of what BG:EE 1.3 does, but BG2:EE sounds like it needs the patch.

    Who all in watchers keep is supposed to drop a scepter of radiance jewl? I got one from the one demon(the not tahaazr(sp?) but the demon knight, the guy with the wriaths, and the tahazar(sp?) are not dropping anything.

    That sounds right... but it's been a while and I can't confirm it where I am now.

    Nope. He can only make ToB related items. Like the club of detonation +5 for instance, or adding the last to flail heads to the flail of ages.

    @meagloth‌ you could install the "Cespenar forges SoA items too" from the Item Randomiser mod, it can be installed as a stand-alone.

    No. iPad. Oh well. Are there any other good shortbows in ToB? I put a shortbow prof. For Serevok thinking he could get gesens.

    Darkfire Bow +4 (which you can upgrade to a +5) is a the best you are going to get then. You can't get it until Amkethran though.

    Description is as follows

    Through arcane sorcery, the contradictory elements of fire and ice have been combined within this magnificent shortbow.

    STATISTICS:

    Equipped abilities:
    – Cold Resistance: +5%
    – Fire Resistance: +5%

    Charge abilities:
    – Improved Haste once per day
    Duration: 23 rounds
    Area of Effect: The user

    THAC0: +4

    (+5 version just improves Thac0 by 1)

    Hey guys, my game suddenly won't load. I go to open BGII and the main menu appears, where I can select Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal, or Black Pits. After here it all goes to shit. Anything I click on takes me to a black screen of death. When I did this yesterday, the game crashed and tried to give me an error report. I went to click on the "read more" button, but it brought me to a 404 not found page. I can't load anything past the main menu.

    The game worked just fine last week. Anyone know what's up?

    ETA: Fwiw, BGEE works just fine. It's only BGEEII that's futzing out.

    @Blinkk‌ , what hardware and OS you have? Do you have any software refreshing since last week? And after the main menu i think there's go cinematics, so how about your video card?

    Why do you incur a reputation loss for defending yourself from the drow-hating NPC Belming Gergas in Waukeen's Promenade? He attacks you simply for talking to him more than once if you have Viconia in the party. The nearby guard also becomes hostile for no reason. It just seems...wrong. Is it a bug?
