Some People may ask me why I didn't split this topic to Fan Creations. The reason is simple. Nothing discussed in this topic is fiction. It's all real, scientifically accurate information.
As you are well aware... Before multicellular life dragged itself from the primordial oceans... The land belonged to plants, vegetables and fruit of all kinds. It was a time of plenty and of blissful peace that lasted for millennia. !
Many make the mistake and miss out, that the fungi-life was there always. This happens, because fungus was always the tolerant folk. But this means not, that we fight never against evil vegetables, like the children of the corn. For example see the charming corn smut, who conquered over many of those corn-kin:

Bah, your best are banished to the fairy rings to entertain pixies. Smutty terrorists and ergot are no real threat to the supremacy of grain!
Its true. That said who would have guessed so many would turnip to talk about vegetables? I certainly wouldn't have.
Then again, it might be difficult to squash this now that it keeps staying alive. I suppose that isn't surprising given that the conversation has become pretty peppered at this point. Still, its probably best that knowledge of this thread stay in-house, just to prevent any leeks about it.

Well, veggies beet the beef out of discussions about meat, so no surprise here.
For a topic about rampant vegetable expansion, there sure are a lot of nuts. If we get invaded by the evil squirrel from Easthaven thread, don't say I didn't warn you.
Oh no, nobody would survive the Greater Whirlwind Broccoli and Cauliflower Attack...
I sure would when I have my mage cast Horrid Wilting on them. Aren't plants weak to Horrid Wilting?
Unfortunately, much like real life, there is no easy way around broccoli.

I'm sorry @Lollien . I have checked the official documentation of the first life, and civilisations on the planet.... No mention of fungus.
Like gnomes, fungus is sometimes referred to as the forgotten race.
If you look at any taxonomy diagram showing the tree of life, the kingdom of fungi sits right next door to animalia... Yes. You named it. Fungi is more closely related to animals than good, honest veg. Fungus should be treated, then, with the same respect as any herbivore... So MOO!

We have much to discuss, young beet shoot! Think carefully before giving thine answers, I shall consider thy words when I thinnest thy row.

O Dachis at dawn! Death before defilement! I desperately hope!
I summon my broccoli familiar at you:
