@CrevsDaak Sorry to hear of your program crash. I don't know about Wine and BG, hopefully you can get help from Google or someone else who also uses Wine and BG together.
My game has just crashed because of Wine. What is Wine? The only wine I know anything about, is the wine that makes a meal tastier. EDIT I have just read up on Wine in Wiki. Unfortunately it is written in Geekish, not English so I am not a lot wiser.

WINE is windows emulation, used on computers that don't have windows (such as Macs or Linux machines). If you want to run BG on Mac or Linux, this is what people use to do so usually.
@Wise_Grimwald Note your message says "or" - since you have Windows and not WINE, the 1st cause must be it (crash in BG). The BG 1 vanilla is very stable, but the BG 2 engine can crash now and then. Mods of course can increase chance of a crash as well...
Am running BGEE with SoD I did have a mod installed but uninstalled it. If it didn't do a good enough job of uninstallling, I suppose that could have caused the problem. Anyway, I re-loaded and everything appears OK now, but before starting my next game, I will do a clean install.
Now time to go and see Leeds United try and beat Brighton. (Not too optimistic)
EDIT
I was unecessarily pessimistic about the Leeds Brighton match. Leeds won 2-0. sadly however, none of the pubs were showing it. They were all showing the Rugby International.
I got this message whilst playing. I cannot understand it as I have a legal GoG installation.
The Journal of Grimwald and Grimbold, adherants of Helm.
We went to take on Zargal and Bassilus. Two Glyphs of Warding killed Zargals allies and caused him to panic. Battle over before it started. We used a Summoned Skeleton against Bassilus. He wasted all his spells against the skeleton. I used one blast of the Wand of the Heavens to ensure victory. Ranged weapons finished hime off. We then returned to the basilisk area. Grimbold used the scroll of protection from petrification and oil of speed and proceeded to all but wipe the basilisks. There was one left when Mutamin cast horror. He then slowly but surely killed Grimbold. Grimwald would have cast silence, but for the fact that he would have been petrified if he had approached Mutamin. He took a potion of mirrored eyes and killed the last basilisk, but by then Grimbold was dead. Glyphs of warding were then used and Mutamin was quickly killed. I went to the temple and raised Grimbold AGAIN!
EDIT
We headed south, picked up a ring of fire resistance and proceeded down the mines. Holy smite was invaluable against Mulahey and his cohorts. It caused him to panic and after that, the rest was easy. The same cannot be said of the amazons. Grimbold had rigid thinking cast on him, and as a result, he killed Xan. Grimwald and his summoned skeleton however prevailed against the amazons and they just had to await the recovery of Grimbold.
The Revenant and the other inhabitants of the caves were then killed. We also killed a mage and his experimental monsters before returning to the Nashkel Carnival.
We returned to the temple near Beregost where we raised Xan before bidding him farewell.
We will now go and see how big a reward we will get from the Mayor of Nashkel.
@Wise_Grimwald BG does not use that file. Almost certainly it was a BACKGROUND program or service that encountered the error while you were playing. The error might have come up whether you were playing or not. It is just saying it can't find the file (like say the file is missing). I do not know off-hand if "Intel Security" is a valid app or put in by malware, you'll need to research that. If it's a valid app, you can uninstall "Intel Security" and this message will go away. If it's malware, you'll need to scan you computer, such as the free web scanner Housecall by Trend Micro.
I've discovered which program it comes from and it is a very useful program. I have no viruses according to Avast. It did come with an Adobe Flash Update and I like it.
Shyffunee killed Droth and Shoal, although I just wanted to kill the Sirine. I fought against Shoal without talking to her until she talked to me about Droth, then I killed them both. The party of Molkar and co. were also disposed of, I separated the shorties from the humans, killed both shorties and then took care of the humans. Also, I looted the CON Tome Cave, which means we have 96 base HP now after levelling up to level 7, and we have around 31k gold (which I don't have any uses for...). Two of the Red Wizards in the Spider Woods were killed, the other two are simply too powerful together right now for me. Also, took care of the Gnoll Stronghold, got Haste (!) from Neville in the Ogre Bridges area, massacred the Xvart village, killied a couple of random spawns and got the 2nd pair of Boots of Stealth in the Ulcaster Ruins and finally killed all the enemies outside of Durlag's, and I bought 30 darts of Stunning from Eredane (now we have a total of 31). I Still have 30k gold... It'd be nice to trade it for XP...
I played Circe a bit, too. Silke was killed with Tiax's Ghast, so were the Spiders in Landarin's house, and I took care of the Ogrillions in the road to Nashkel, besides calming down Marl, which gave her level 2. We found a Tome of Charisma on Silke. I ID'd and used it.
· J kicked to get Branwen into the party which solves some looting issues...
· Khalid gave me grief about it so Ajantis does the tanking now
Fights: an easy goblin bash turned dangerous when the red wizards crashed the party and Nalia tried to cast Magic missiles... I've never been happier to have too many summons in play.
p.s, I've cleared out the mines and finally have my familiar.
yes sorry guys, I posted that update 3 days ago and the Beamdog forums Mod have taken this long to wake up... why it became a clone is news to me.
We're only kidding you. No need to appologise. I've noticed myself that they seem to be taking longer to post what you write. I was just amused as I think was Grond0.
I have come across what I think could be a bug. Grimwald and Grimbold took everything from the cave in the Lighthouse area and killed all the sirine including Sil. A long time later we asked Safana to join the party and now she is complaining that we haven't completed her quest.
@Wise_Grimwald There probably some variables that can be changed with near infinity. This is vanilla behavior btw. I don't know what exactly to change though. I think I remember her dying then resurrecting her, then she stopped bugging me, but don't know if that "trick" works in EE.

Thanks. I'm thinking that it could even be fixed using EE keeper which is easier to use. I never used to use her due to her being neutral rather than good, but with SoD she becomes a lot more attractive as Imoen isn't available.
The relevant variable s could be SPRITEISDEADSIL 1 or perhaps SPRITEISDEADSIRINE 8.
Almost certain it is SPRITEISDEADSIL 1. I can try changing it to SPRITEISDEADSIL 0. I can then create a new Sil, kill her and then lower my experience back down again. Would that work? I have given it a try to find out. Sil is now dead. We'll see what happens next.
The Journal of Grimwald and Grimbold, adherants of Helm.
We helped Drizzt who suggested a way to reach the bandit camp. Grimbold was not happy about using it, but deferring to my superior intelligence and wisdom he accepted my decision to follow the advice of Drizzt. I therefore enlisted the help of Safana who is clearly not an adherant of Helm despite being neutral. Dynaheir also joined the party and she does follow his tenets despite being good. Tazok was defeated easily and after him Deke and Tranzig. Upon leaving Beregost, during an ambush in transit, Safana left the party. During another ambush she rejoined and then left again. I wish I understood the problem.
· Branwen wondered off in the mines and I assume she drowned but the party has a dwarf to take her spot + tanking.
· Ajantis was all HELM this and that in my face so I asked an elf to take his spot
Fights: an easy ship rumble got out of hand when the spells turned us against each other and my rep crashed because the party killed some commoner... oops my bad.
p.s, I've cleared the city quests to stop the guards attacking us on sight and finally have returned to my home.
SETUP: Vanilla BG 2 ToB Official ToB patch Core rules at all times
Party made a little more progress today. We needed more funds, so thought we would pay a visit to the Temple Sewers. Corewild scouted ahead and saw Tarnor - he definitely looked like a criminal. So Corewild backed up a bit, then the wild mages went to town, putting down massive mojo (webs, stinking cloud, cloudkills, fireballs, great malison, emotion) - it was so massive the enemies were defeated without even being attacked! Despite the massive # of spells being cast, the only surge of note was Misty was refreshed - not sure if that meant her health (which was full) or her spells, but it was actually a good surge in any case.
Eventually the enemies were defeated but the area effects were still going off. So we then proceeded to do lots of buffs, and when the area effects wore off, we headed south and engaged the Rakshasha and his group of kobolds. Corewild stayed in the shadows, Joshua was enraged and the mages had minor globe of invulnerability up, which meant the kobold shaman wasn't going to be able to do anything (well, except die of course). A solid backstab by Corewild with his Daystar finished the Rakshasha
We then go to a temple to identify some things, then we go to Waukeen's Promenade to sell minor loot. We want to get the glasses of identification since our lore isn't that good. The big items however, we are putting in a chest to be saved when we need a big purchase (such as we will need the shield of Balduran soon). This technique helps us not to be too badly hurt by a wild surge destroying our gold. We were fatigued because of our group haste spell, so we rested in an inn and had to end session here (time to go to work in real life).
· Neera is a fun addition to my party and I don't really mind the odd surge but that one hurt.
· Yeslick made a wrong step... getting to near to my half brother and paid the price.
Fights: my girlfriend wasted all our money we saved up for arrows but spells smoothened the battle and we just feed peons into the cannon until Sarevok gave up.

Hey there ! @Ygramul : I've gathered the informations about no-reload successes I could find on this forum. I left some questions marks in front of informations I wasn't sure about, but managed to guess by reading posts. If anyone can confirm (or correct) my guesses, please do so.
I only kept Trilogy successes, even though I managed to find partially complete runs of note (BG2+ToB) by @Enuhal and @semiticgod. No BG1 ? Too bad for you guys !!
@Corey_Russell : I know that you had numerous successes posted on the old Bioware forum, but couldn't find any here. Have I missed something ?
@Grond0 and @Gate70 : Your last success was without mods and on Core. Am I right ?
If I forgot somebody, manifest yourself, or stay forgotten 'til the end of time !!!
P.S.: Oh yeah, I almost forgot,,, Here's my methodology : my starting point was @JuliusBorisov's informations on page 116. I then read the remaining pages. I also searched on the whole forum, finding @proghead3 run.
Gate70/Grond0 multiplayer trilogy attempt 121 (2nd and final update : Previous session)
As so often happens in our duo games, we made a poor start and went downhill from there. After about 30 seconds walking across the map we attacked Kirian, Peter and Baerin. My first mistake was to be moving in for melee instead of using my crossbow as planned. By the time I realised and retreated, combat was well underway.
My second mistake was not to have enabled pausing for Grond0 then hearing mashed spacebar sounds. I paused as my character was retreating and his character was affected by rigid thinking (his plan had been to get into melee after casting True Sight but lack of pause compromised that) After getting my act together, I'd had a lightning bolt and Baerin was shooting at me. Clearly time to run but Kirian was temptingly close to death so I hung around. She survived by targeting me with horror and that gave her plenty of time to get some Melf's Acid Arrows off. All that was left to do was grab a screenshot before dying.

I decided it's high time we got some haste boots. But first we have to deal with Mekrath's Lair. The mephits were no problem. For Mekrath himself, we used what little in summons we had to try to draw out his FoD. Then Joshua, protected by a green scroll of protection from electricity, proceeded to attack Mekrath with Stonefire and Frostweaver. He won, but nearly died until he used his head and moved himself out of the path of the ricocheting lightning bolt. Good thing as we will need to use the RoR later...rest of the lair was straight-forward.
Then we went to the Five Flagons to enter the Planar Prison. We did max buffs, but our chaos won the fight pretty handily. We very carefully pulled the minions on the far side, and this worked. We didn't bother clearing the cells. For the Master of Thralls, he had no answer for Joshua's enrage and his axes, although Joshua needed to RoR to heal himself as he was hit pretty hard.
For the Warden, we had Paja approach alone and she managed to poison the warden with her darts of wounding - Misty moved up with a skull trap to finish the job.
We got a level from all of this, and after selling a little and getting our glasses of Identification, we thought we might pay the Shadow Dragon a visit now that our party has so many lightning bolts as well as full lightning protection for the party. (we have 3 lightning wands, one mage will use lightning bolt spell).
I made my buffs and entered the Shadow Dragon Lair, but made a few key errors: 1) Forgot to put up resist fear 2) Forgot to bring wardstone with me
The second error above meant I could not lair down any snares (bummer) - but the 1st error was very nearly disaster as nearly the entire party is running in fear except for Corewild!
At one point, Corewild was nearly pinned at the entrance (remember can't leave, don't have control of the party), but his new haste boots saved him...eventually after running around and watching Forrest die, the party regains control of their senses.
The party resumes pumping lightning bolts into Thaxxy (Corewild using arrows here). One more mage goes down, then success!
RoR was used to bring people back to life. Thaxxy and our equipment looted. Last task of the session to forge the shadow dragon armor for Corewild. Saved session here.
