"Marriage lends an element of forbidden love and tragedy to the drama. Those are always the saddest," Ajantis says, glancing at the rest of the party before quickly adding, "Or so I've been told. I'm not really one for bard tales. Too busy fighting evil and all that."
For the first time in her recollection, Ajantis exceeded the ignorance of Anomen. "For all the love of Nature, what are you going on about?" The only sadness she felt was in missing her dearest Khalid, stutters and all. It was, she supposed, what balanced the unadulterated joy she felt in his presence...
...at least most of the time. Every now and again, he waxed a bit too paladinial for her tastes, but she generally walloped that out of him. Besides, she knew how to reward him properly for his love of nature. Oh, the ways that entangle could be used... Oh, and the good berries. Never forget those good berries.
Blushing for a moment, she stared away from the group, ignoring their bickering and nonsense for a few moments, and simply remembered.

OOC: Is never going to view entangle the same way again. Thanks for that.
Alora will hand all the things from the pouch to Jaheira since she is more likely to know what they can be used for.
"Okay everybody, follow me. But next time can we try not to kill anything before we talk to it. We should give being friends a try before we start stabbing stuff."
Minsc leads you through the woods. Ahead of you is a welcome break in the dark canopy of trees, and the sound of rushing water reaches your ears. Following the sound, you reach a narrow gully with steep, moss-covered sides, but by a clear, splashing brook. The gorge offers no prospect of an easy crossing , but just here, it is spanned by a rope bridge, old and ivy-covered, but intact.
"How good it is, to tread in nature's garden," Jaheira remarked. She was tempted to kick off her boots and cool her toes in the brook, but it would be more trouble (and hazard) than it was worth at this point.
"This bridge looks like it has seen better days. Jaheira, could you do that entangling roots thing but along the bridge so that it's more stable? So the roots are holding the bridge together, I mean."
Walking the path of balance was difficult, particularly when it came to Anomen. Watching him, aimlessly traipse into the dangerous circle of a blood thorn tree would amuse her to no end, and teach him respect for nature, yet was a little crueler than she ought to be. Therefore, she decided (against better judgment) to grab his shoulder. "Mind your path, Paladin," she ordered. "Lest your flesh be ripped from the bone to feed the earth!" She then pointed at the tree and released him. If he ignored her and walked into it, now, then so be it.
Ajantis stopped and scrutinized the tree the druid had pointed out to Anomen, trying to determine the threat. "Even the very trees are evil in this place!"
"How do we know the tree is evil? Maybe it's just misunderstood? We should talk to it and try to make it see that the world would be a nicer place if we all tried to get along."

He laughs nervously.

Minsc says he can see where the Needleman came from.
