On the other hand, spiders like in Landrin's house in Beregost? Not enough chocolate in EVERY world...
I hate going in that house. I'm not good with spiders in real life and the ones in the game really creep me out. Mind you, its not as bad as the Bloated Dire Spiders in Neverwinter Nights . . .
Fine. Maybe one of these items can teleport us back to civilization. I will pray to Torm in the mean time to give me the patience to deal with our current situation.
OOC: Will memorize Sanctuary as his only divine spell. Stupid low wisdom.
OOC: Alora suppressed a giggle as she walked up to the balor. 'He can't even see me! This is so awesome!' she thought as she continued her bold approach....
OOC: I want Alora to attempt to use Sanctuary in the game.
OOC: I do love the idea of a small pink-haired halfling with a dead cockatrice on her head walking through a dungeon saying to herself "No one has even noticed me."

OOC: If I could get Neera, Aerie, and Alora in a party like this I'd have my three favorite BG characters together.
Jaheira is thankful that Alora's back to her normal insanity, as she found the Halfling far more interesting than the DunderHeads (a. k. a. Paladinials (to include want-to-be fake paladins)). "Spiders are a necessary part of the natural order," she professed, shifting to her 'knows all things natural' mode. "Save for when some addle-minded wizard tampers with that order." The results of which, of course, led to unusually sized arachnids. "When I find unnatural spiders, I'll kill the man what done it."
+1 Shield (from Quasqueton) +1 Two-Handed Sword (currently being used by Minsc) Elven Boots (from Quasqueton) +1 Ring of Protection 2 Potions of Invisibility (from Quasqueton) Potion of Healing (from Quasqueton) Ring of Warmth Ring of Protection +1 of Gold and Ivory
The "potions" in the glass bottles aren't magical. In fact, the yellowish ones are wine, and the brownish-gold ones are whiskey.
OOC: Dwarves should have a detect alcoholic beverage as a racial skill.
OOC: So rings of protection to Minsc and Arkanis, shield to Ajantis while he uses my mace, pots to Alora so she can cast sanctuary, healing potion is quest related, the ring of warmth can be fought over.
OOC: Alora will put in a bid for the Boots so she can be quiet as well as invisible (well her feet will be quiet - she will probably keep talking).
OOC: Nonsense. Elven boots can only be worn by elves. So the boots go to Aerie. But I guess half-elves can wear half of the boots so the left could go to neera and the right could go to Jaheria and everything would be logical.

OOC: Would that mean both Neera and Jaheira would gain one-half of the boots' bonuses?
"My heart would break, when I could not watch those pair of fluffy wonder of yours girl, but I won't deny the joy of a new dress from you either. If others agree of course."
"That is in her nature to do so," Jaheira told Anomen, for he certainly lacked the facilities to determine that without her help. "And what do you care of boots, anyway? Does not the nature of valuable items mean that you should not have want of them, or did you happen to forget that during all of your paladinial rant training?"
I am not here to start a philosophical debate on the nature of individuals. I am just merely stating that a lesser individual would take that statement and use it against her, and she should watch what she promises in the future.
If she doesn't understand that meaning, then she is at a loss, however, I did attempt to get through with her so I am suffice.
Alora excitedly pulls on the boots and starts running around. "Listen! Can you hear me? I'm being really quiet! I bet you can't hear me at all. You can't hear me can you Jaheira? I can't even hear myself. If you couldn't see me you wouldn't know I was here."
Alora's running around disturbs something inside the skeleton, and two large spiders pull out from under the skeleton and go after her. Both of them jump on her and bite, and Alora goes down as the Spider's poison takes her down.

"I store these in my pack for further inspection." grabs Arkanis the non-magical bottles.

What do elven boots do, anyway?
*giggles*
