"Now i understand your feelings, but i doubt that we could find a better place for these creatures than Mr. Zando's proficient care. Obviously we can not bring them with us and -unless you want to throw them in the chilly weather to have some frozen meat, at the time when we will arrive back from our next trip to Quasqueton- i object to separate them from these caves. If any of you want to ensure better conditions for the critters, i suggest to stay here and help with the caretaking. Unless we find some magical aid to secure the portal room and teleport back the creatures to their rightful place i don't see a better solution. But these are just my thoughts and if you give me something to drink i'll gladly keep my thoughts to meself."
Zando nods. "That seems fair for saving my life," he says. "In fact, I think you will have lifetime free admission to the tour. And… if you find any *really* strange monsters in your travels, I hope you will bring them back for me, if you can and it's safe for you."

OOC: What seems fair? Are we now the proud owners of some minituars and uniducks?

Alora pats the uniducks goodbye then turns to the rest of the party: "Come on everyone, we've got a new adventure to go on. Isn't this great? All of us, doing nice things, being happy! It's great!"
You get out of the dungeon, leaving the Uniducks and Minitaurs behnd. Back upstairs, you head to Bheanne's shop, and she seems pleased to see you. She hands over the empty vials you paid for, and a map showing the purported location of "Quasqueton".
"You may have to do a little looking around. The one who sold me the map said that the entrance was hidden inside a cave that seemed totally unremarkable from the outside, and just one of many similar caves and cracks on a cliff face."
Khalid is outside, having been pulled aside by a messenger before you could get into Bheannhe's shop. He goes to Jaheira. "Excuse me, my dear," he said.
OOC: Khalid is leaving the party now. That means @Bengoshi and Yoshimo are in.
"On your own?" Sometimes, the Harpers pushed her a little farther than she wished to be pushed. The sad part, for Khalid, is that he, and not they, would bear the brunt of her dissatisfaction. Apparently, their marital bliss was in need of re-balance. She almost felt sorry for him.
Yoshimo:Very well... (sigh) Hii-ya. While I've been waiting for you, fellow adventureres, to arrive at this place, I've been contacted by my old Kara-Tur friends, and... make some business elsewhere. If memory serves, it's a good old hunting work. So my thieving skills will be of little use for you right now. But I am not worried. I'll be back.
OOC: I guess it would be a good thing to have another fighter, since Khalid is missing now. He did score quite a lot of good hits on the monsters, without his sword arm we will be even more vulnerable than we already are...
Staring daggers, Jaheira could only hope that the need for Khalid was dire. "Then go," she ordered, turning about and making a show of being busy with her pack. Now, she'd be sick with worry until he returned, but there was no use telling him (or anybody else) that.
Aerie reached out to touch Jaheira's arm gently. Though the druid had proven to be one of the sternest and toughest of their little band, there was no fooling Aerie when it came to matters of the heart.
"He'll be all right, Jaheira. The Harpers wouldn't ask him of this if they did not think he was capable."

Free admission to this death trap is all your life is worth? Clearly this excursion was a waste of time and effort. Let's leave this wretched place.

@bengoshi won't be able to take part. Anyone else want to join?
