I know what I am probably about to speak is blasphemy. But I have never had Jan Jansen in my party! *dodges all the stones*
Although, I haven't given BG2 very much attention over the past year or so because I have spent so much time on the original game and IWD. I hear that he fits in well with mostly any type of party, so I might give him a shot next time around.

BTW, those little planets on his shoulders are filled with antimatter. One of them is shaped charge that he's used as an anti-tank weapon.
