This year was a good one, with full of adventure and experiences. First, my daughters are growing like mushrooms
We moved home, as @CaloNord and @bengoshi . We are just a block far from our recent flat, still to furnish the new home and to do the paperwork was a decent challenge. (I don't want to imagine how moving to another country goes @bengoshi ) I also started an MSc school beside my job and my wife gone to a new workplace, so we keep us busy. Sadly with all the activities i don't have the time and nerve to start/continue bigger projects on this forum, but i participate (sometimes) in the Castle Greyhawk RP by @LadyRhian , and try to read all the interesting things, like the Monthy Python crew's adventures and the recent news about dragonspear and forum wars.
What i plan in 2016? Planning takes much time. I rather do things than plan them. Like sleeping, eating, playing. I expect to do all of these in 2016. I will spend my christmas with my family (not a big surprise here). We will eat, play with the children, eat, visit the relatives, eat and love each other.
For SOD, i don't have any wishes, at least what is feasable at this point. And i'm fine with any release date, i have to experience the other EE-s content yet.
Your daughters are so lovely! Also, the photo is superb! It's like from a movie, actually.
I've noticed you used the word "eat" 4 times Apparently mushrooms like to eat.
My own move was an exhausting procedure, thanks for asking, but now it's in the past, and we're currently buying facilities and furniture for a kitchen, then bathroom, then bedroom... I'm very happy to have moved, and now I can finally work from home.
Also, a big thanks to all folks here who gave me a support before and during the move.
In the @O_Bruce 's thread I wrote that my aim for 2015 was to move to another country, so this year was successful for me. As for the plans for 2016, I just want it to be more peaceful. Not that I don't plan to become an entrepreneur in 2016
As for SoD, my greatest wish is that people who criticized the EE content were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the SoD content.
For the thread, I'll mention some of my forum friends who usually don't get as much attention as some of the regulars:
Merry Christmas, @JLee ! I'll always remember our sharing our Dark Wizard runs together. May you see many bright Christmas stars through your telescope.
Merry Christmas, @SapphireIce101 ! You got me into playing Baldur's Gate minimal reload runs on the old forums. I'll always remember you for keeping a list of participants and keeping it updated. That was a fun summer. May you have a long and successful life.
Merry Christmas, @Son_of_Imoen ! You've always been a good friend and confidante. The world is better, and there is always hope, because of people like you and the compassion you have, and your willingness to get out and actively work for good. May all your dreams of a better world come true.
Merry Christmas, @Moczo . I've thoroughly enjoyed your creative and original written Let's Play Baldur's Gate blogs. May you have health and happiness.
Merry Christmas, @CharlestonianTemplar ! You've been posting Baldur's Gate runs that I've always enjoyed reading for a long time, since the heyday of the old Bioware forum. I always liked how you used to report in the style of a military debrief, as though you were the commanding officer of your party. A lot of people probably don't know you have (or had?) an active duty military career. I thank you for your service. May you always come home safely.
Merry Christmas all, Thanks to everyone who has made my year brighter and happier this past year. I went through some difficult times earlier in the year and this forum Helped me through it by providing witty banter and silliness.
On a less serious note (what did you expect here?), I just hope @lolien 's doppleganger doesn't kidnap him again and try to take over the forum and abolish christmas.
I'll also say Merry Chrstmas to everyone. Have a great day with family, eat too much, get every present you hope for.... Or spend the day in your basement playing Baldur's Gate. Whatever you do, have a great holiday!
I know I already had a turn, but I'd like to wish a Merry Christmas to @iKrivetko . That grumpy cat avatar makes it look like you could use some cheering up, friend. I respect and am impressed by your extensive knowledge of character builds in NWN and KOTOR.
Has anyone wished a Merry Christmas to @the_spyder ? Merry Christmas, Spyder! I always enjoy your insightful and deeply thought-out posts about games and philosophy. Anytime there's an interesting philosophical topic going on, we can count on you to provide insight and a "voice of reason" in the thread.
EDIT: I looked over @bengoshi 's big list again, and it looks like he's covered everybody I can think of who posts here with any regularity. I just don't want anybody to see this thread and not get mentioned, thus feeling left out or "not feeling the love" from the forum.
These shout-outs give me warm, fuzzy feelings. Thanks for that @Shandyr and @bengoshi.
I have not been super-active on the forums lately, mostly lurking. This has mostly been caused by a somewhat busy (but mostly just tiring) work schedule, my responses to world events, and a surprising number of people in my immediate circle going away. Literally (physically moving away), figuratively (dealing with their own sh*t, or getting sick), and metaphysically (dying). Suffice to say it has been a trying few months.
I have faith that things will work out though, and have hopes for the future. I already have one good thing to look forward to in 2016, since my baby niece is going to be a big sister.
Anywho. I wish any and all forumites, active and lurkers, the very best of holidays! Whether those be Christmas, Hannukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, Yule, Yalda, Hogswatch... or something of your own design.
Season's Greetings and best wishes for the New Year to you all! (photo credit: Petr Shevelko) My goal for 2014 was, after coming out of a coma, to get myself fit enough to go fishing again (tick). My goal for 2015 was, to buy and restore an old Land Rover (tick). My goal for 2016 is, to acquire and look after a canine companion, probably a Springer Spaniel, time will tell....
I wish all of you happy holidays too! I'd like to wish happy holidays to some friends that I know write their own fan fictions or are at least familiar with my BG fan fiction
and especially you, @Nonnahswriter, I love yours! Please don't give up because I'm not, I want you to reach ToB!
Me, when I'm done with my BG fan fiction series, I won't stop there, I'll do Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 and their expansions, the Neverwinter MMORPG (for those of you who play the game and become friends with me in it, I'll add your character into my fan fiction as long as your character's name isn't anything like "ToughGuy201256") and last but not least, Sword Coast Legends. I have a long list of projects I look forward to doing
I'd also like to post a picture of myself giving you all a thumb up for a happy holiday. I wish I could post a better picture of myself, but this is the best I can do.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all my fellow forumites and their loved ones, to all BGers and even non-BGers.

Objections? No? Cool.
