When nobody is looking, Tamoko casts cure light wounds on Minsc. If anyone does see her doing so, she's just so happens to be enunciating the words in a sinister fashion. Wouldn't want to break character .
Minsc had been feeling stiff and weak, which had a lot to do with his willingness to let others lead. Mini-Hero-Yoshimo wasn't quite as effective as Minsc, as he found himself dead in very short order. It would definitely remove a bootheel or two from the butt-kicking of evil that was clearly in order.
These high-minded intellectual thoughts had so distracted Minsc that he'd lost track of the priestess of black evil, Tamoko. She'd been muttering evil upon evil, somehow leading to a change in Minsc's perceived health. Had she infused him with some deep evil? If so, he would forever have difficulty looking Boo in the eyes!
A cheer-up seemed in order, so Minsc announced, "Take heart fellow adventurers, for you have curried the favor of Boo, the only miniature giant space hamster in the Realm!" That would surely keep them out of a funk and even make Xan burst with optimistic confidence.
I'm sorry to interrupt, just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading your adventure. I've been your fan since Tomb of Horrors and I hope this won't be the last one .

Ooc: Thanks glad your enjoying our misadventures.
And Mazzy is Edwin's favorite. That doesn't say much for the rest of the group.

I'm glad you are enjoying it. It is a lot of fun to do.
Nothing better to soothe the body like a hot cup of tea. The captain has been most kind to me these past two weeks. I feel little reason to disembark, the comforts and joys of my new position are worth more than I could imagine. I have fine company at night, with a bit of muscle, and I get to woo the women aboard. I now have a couple chests of fine clothing and gems. Drat, knocking at the door, I don't seem to be able to get enough peace and quiet these days. I'll finish this..
Nothing happens to Kivan. DM: Good going, drinking the poison antidote when you're not poisoned. I sure hope Alora doesn't ever fail that find/remove traps roll now!
I don't think we actually entered the room that Alora was investigating. Lets go in. But Kivan shouldn't lead because he's still enfeebled and can't fight.
This room was perhaps once a fine guest bedroom, but it is now decayed like the rest of the house. Rubbish is scattered around, there is some evidence of rodent infestation, and some small webs hang torpid in the corners. A four-poster bed, once a grand piece of furniture, is against the east wall across from the double-size fireplace. Its woodwork is worm-ridden, and the curtains which once screened the bed are torn and stained. There is no bed linen, and the straw mattress sags in places, but the carcass of the bed seems otherwise relatively intact.
*Kivan steps inside and cautiously looks around, trying to spot anything of interest without getting too close to piles of garbage where creatures could hide.*

"By all means, I'm sure we are all eager to hear your expert opinion on its contents."

"Yes indeed, perhaps between you and Kivan together you might conjure up the nearness of a functioning intelect."

OOC: Do I die?
"Of course we could have rested and Xan or I could have memorized an identify spell, but I must admit that lacks the imbecilic charm of your action."
Ooc: and welcome back Permidion/Alora!

"Well it appears not to have been a potion of remove ignorance either."
