fantastic session all. gutwrenching pathos combined with howling comedy = superb eavesdropping for the rest of us!
Incidentally LadyRhian, if you would be so kind, may I also be put on a reserve list for the next adventure? Being a starter is definitely not a priority as the current players are too damn good to not get a starting character, but i'm just happy to be named on the bench, so to speak ;-) Thank you, either way!
OOC: Hmm, I think I'll start out with, Studded Leather Armor, Medium Shield, Warhammer, Sling, a small pouch with 40 smooth river stones in it, 40 feet of rope, a weeks worth of rations, her holy symbol, 3 torches, and a small roll of cloth, to be used for bandages.
Her spells are: Cure Light Wounds, Bless and Armor of Faith
OOC - Minsc would love to be in "Full +1 Plate, Packing Steel." He is also packing a hamster, a big sword and... Well, what more do we need? Head wound, check. Miniature Giant Space Hamster, check. Boots of butt-kicking, check. Face that the ladies love? Double-check.
Alora would like to put a bid in for a +1 ring. She also would like a lucky charm necklace - since she hasn't got her rabbit's foot she needs all the help she can get.
Patting the diminutive hero on her head, which, for Mazzy, was quite a way down, Minsc said, "When you are huge, like Minsc, head is not so low and not so easy to hit." It was his way of explaining away the supposed need for a helmet. "And Minsc has no hair to protect. Besides, Boo does not like helmets. He thinks they are for peeing."
DM: I only have to point out that the "lucky charms" weren't so lucky for these guys, now, were they? But, sure! Okay, we still have the potion, another ring. Oh, and Tamoko had a scroll of Clerical spells on her... Well, just one spell "Hold Person".
Okay, Minsc gets on the armor, which soon fits him like a glove, Alora is wearing the Ring. Xan takes the spellbooks. And he points out that, since you have found the skeletons, there must be something in the room beyond since he found that "Beyond Skeletons" in a book upstairs.
Muttering, "Full plate, packing steel," Minsc had little to offer regarding 'beyond skeletons'. Perhaps there was a bigger evil, that would soon meet sword and boot. That thought cheered him up almost as much as the two-handed spin move that had smitten the evil enemy mage. One day, Minsc would have a witch, who would fight magic with magic. Until then, swords would prevail!

About as lucky as a rabbit foot is for the rabbit
Also did I get a ring and deceased Tamoko's magic resizing armor?
Branwen, set off from the town, with a new direction to go. For the past few years, the warrior-priestess, has done naught but drift, from town to town, looking for a band of worthy individuals. Tempus be praised, this had sounded promising. A unquieted spirit, that was frightening the townsfolk, was in a near by manor. While there had already been several adventurers off to the haunted manor, the priestess hoped they would accepted her into their ranks. Then toghether, they could share in the glory of riding the forces that caused the townsfolk such worry.
After getting directions to the haunted manor, Branwen, left the small little village, and started off, travelling to the old manor. It wasn't long before she set sights on the aged building. She glanced around, wondering where the rest of the adventurers had gotten off to, having not seen a sign of them yet. She entered the old building cautious, knowing that the unquieted spirit could be lurking around any corner. She shrugged her wooden sheild into place, her palm resting on the top of her warhammer, ready to show any who opposed her the might of Tempus.
@Myval Branwen finds an open trapdoor in the "ballroom" and a room full of slaughtered men and one elf... and a bunch of adventurers looking injured and battle-weary.
Spotting the newcomer, Minsc initially felt suspicious. "Stand and deliver," he told the blonde lady. "So that my hamster might have a better look at you." Boo was suspicious, too, though he was too polite to say.
Branwen survey the carnage, with a touch of awe, impressed with what she sees before her. "O, what do I see here? A battle worthy of a tale, no doubt." She said, with one last look around in the carnage. "Are you, the brave souls who have gone forth, for what ever haunts this place?" She asks surveying the crowd. Tempus be praised, this might just be a worthy band.
Unsure of what answers she was seeking, Minsc said, "You see Minsc and Boo." She would see the others, were he not so huge and blocking her vision. "I see a stranger. Be you evil, and in need of sword and boot? Or friend?" There were probably other categories, but Minsc left Boo to sort those kinds of details.
Alora hides behind Minsc when she sees Branwen. Alora is always a bit nervous around big girls. Then she remembers Milo and gets him out to see if Branwen is cat-friendly.
Alora thinks the best thing to do to take Milo's mind off things is to go exploring again. She wants to go and see what is beyond skellingtons. She found some copper pans before and she wants to go and see what they were for.
Drawing herself up, when the large man spoke at her. She was a little amused that the man was wanting his hamster have a look at her. But when the bald man asked her if she was evil, she proudly exlaimed otherwise. "I am no evil. I am Branwen, Warrior-Priestess of Tempus. I have come to this place to ride it of what ever troubles the village. Have you come to do the same?" She asked, eyeing the group. If they intend to, they might need some help, for they looked, worn.
