Got mine yesterday in Austria. The quality is really nice. I can feel that lot's of time went into this. Congrats on finishing and shipping out such a great collectors edition :-D
I absolutely adore it, this quality of the materials alone is amazing. Extra kudos to the person who came up with the idea to include this scatched and used look into the prints, this way the box will look still sharp even if it gets some actual scratches and stuff over time. I especially love all the artworks in the books (though some of them are sadly a tad blurry/ pixelated). We got some faces for some of the NPCs now, YAY!
Gonna get a leather ribbon or a chain for the pendant though and maybe put a flat magnet into the recess for the coin to make it stay inside.

But yeah. I LOVE IT!
Wait, I dont remember receiving that tattoo as part of my collectors edition. How do I contact customer support?
Two boxes arrived in Hungary, the first one two days ago, and the second one today. Neither will feel neglected though, as one of them is just in time to be my brother's birthday present.
Others have said this, but the attention to quality is really striking in person. My personal favorites are the two books. The covers are fantastic, and those full-page art and screenshot prints make it an absolute joy to page through them. Plus they have that fresh D&D book smell. You know the one.
The Field Report in particular gives even more life to a lot of the game's characters and locations, for SoD and the original game both! I've already decided that I'll start a playthrough where I'll augment my character's adventures by reading through each relevant section as I travel the Sword Coast.
There is no doubt in my mind that this was worth the wait, it's the best quality CE that I own.
Great job, Beamdog! Now you guys have to make an expansion for BG2 so I can own another one of these boxes. Godspeed!
@Buttercheese I've always considered tattoos a permanent reminder of a temporary whim, but I will cite yours as the sole exception.
I mean you say that, but I reckon she feels pretty foolish now that Bhaal is dead.
I don't say anything against someone who can handle needles. I have to get blood work once a month and it ALWAYS gives me the heebies, if not the jeebies.

So jealous of that setup in the top pane...
That said, I must say, you have excellent taste in decor!
On a serious note. Please do not use a knife to pierce the parcel. I used it to prick the selotape to allow an easier entrance to the goodies... I did it so I didn't damage the outer box... The OCD kicking in... So use knives on parcels with care...
Stabbing your parcel may injure your goods, as they say in the trade...
Plus this is the steak knife of Neb. It is purely used for sacrificial purposes...
@JuliusBorisov I was wondering, is PSTEE this "next game for free"? Not trying to sound greedy or impatient, just wondering.
According to the email I just got, yes it is. I'm pretty happy with this, I've always wanted to play torment with a decent resolution but I could never get it to run with the widescreen mod.

I will celebrate this with replaying the game ^^

"please don't delay the remaining deliveries to fix it!"
A magnet never occurred to me, though. That's clever.

...
You could have just asked?
Back on to the topic though! The collectors edition arrived!
Sort of upset they didn't use my elven knuckle dice... I was wittling away for nothing...
...
These dice won't turn green or moldy though... So overall... I'm happy.
That is simply glorious.

It may influence the life choices I have to make in about 25 minutes, and possible OS choices too.
