Do not distribute on pain of torture? Missed opportunity right there.

    For shame.

Yeah - It quickly degenerates into a thinly veiled 'Beamdog Bash'

There were actually quite a few people in the comments section spreading the usual falsehoods i.e. the same crap about Beamdog "stealing" modders' work. Had to jump in and tear them new ones.
mind showing where you posted that i'm curious.

    edit: nvm found it.

Yes they will get my money too if its on Android at release. A shame though I am still waiting to buy and play SOD.

Hopefully this will be rectified soon as they may work on SOD tablet editions now.

According to the text posted with the video it will be released on iOS and Android as well.

SoD to tablets is the goal of them after PST:EE is released.

What about the cross-syncing of content? And by that I mean Shaman in IWDEE and Tempus in BGEE...

Also, for those of us who waited for the SoD CE, is PSTEE the game we'll get for free, or is that another of the projects? Not that I'm in a hurry... or greedy... ;)

This is what I really hope for. If they are working on a new stand alone title, SOD for tablets should be a priority now.

The 4 GB max is the issue with tablets. It might never come beacuse of it.

I was just thinking how would the Playstore handle paid expansions... If an update makes it too large... and a stand-alone SoD is unlikely because of legal issues... :/

In one of the screenshots posted online, the engine version was given as v3.0.3.0. Hopefully this means that all the EE games will be getting an update to v3.0 (soon?)!

iOS allows 4GB maximum size for the initial download, but developers can offer add-on download packages that take the size over the limit.

    http://www.zdnet.com/article/max-ios-app-size-doubled-to-4gb-making-816gb-devices-a-bad-idea/

Apple is also dropping 32-bit app support in iOS with v10.3 (which is rolling out now). I don't know if that affects the current versions of BGEE, BG2EE, and IWDEE on the App Store. If that's an issue, I hope they will be rolling out v3.0 soon.

Should troll the trolls. Something I love doing, but I also like to keep my registrations to a minimum.

Is it just my eyes playing ticks, or does it look like the sprites have been re-rendered (as opposed to the upscaling used for the other EEs)?
