Copy paste so we don't have to switch pages back and forth:
Brass monkeys envy me. I can't see what's funny about Humpty-Dumpty. I spend much time reflecting.
The first clue I gave is really obscure, and depends upon applying some real-world physics to an in-game circumstance. The second clue I gave is the one which is most likely to get you thinking along the right lines. The third clue I gave is easier than it looks. _______________________________________________
Brass monkeys.. can't see, can't hear, can't speak. Or it's a reference to male genitalia, according to internet. So if they envy you, you are either able to see, hear and speak or you have massive cohones. The second one is about an egg that falls and breaks, though I don't really know the story. The third one can be either metaphorical or not.
Aha! As soon as I offer a little clue, @Skatan gets the win!
1) The entrance to Adalon's lair is so dark that even drow can't see. But drow have infravision, and being dark even to infravision means that it must be intensely cold, so obviously Adalon can tolerate intense cold. Brass monkeys are highly tolerant of moderate cold, but famously suffer spontaneous castration in sufficiently intense cold, and therefore have reason to envy Adalon's greater hardiness.
2) Adalon's main concern is the fate of her eggs. The story of Humpty-Dumpty is a hilarious tale about a broken egg, but Adalon is not likely to find the idea of a broken egg amusing.
3) Adalon is a silver dragon. Silver is reflective!
I think the Brass Monkeys clue was intended to be more science orientated judging by the addendum, I think it probly refers to some kind of physical state/cirrcumstance.
Yeah, it's Frennedan. Damn, I need to increase the difficulty on my riddles! @Mush_Mush, you're next up! (I'm not picky with spelling, I hope you agree @gallowglass).

Could it be a dragon, Adalon perhaps?
