Djinn are from the Air Elemental Plane.

Rakshasas apparently are from the Astral Plane, but like to hang out in the Prime Material Plane.

Djinn are from the Air Elemental Plane.

@semiticgod Yes... that is true... but Dao are from the Plane of Earth. I know that they say they are "Dao Djinn" but that is probably a bit of a lore screw up by the writers.

Genies according to the AD&D monster manual.

What plane do rakshasas come from anyway?

I thought they were prime but I checked and apparently originally from the lawful evil outer planes.

    Ghorak?
  • Mush_MushMush_Mush Member Posts: 476
    No not Ghorak.
  • Mush_MushMush_Mush Member Posts: 476
The second sentence could do with a rewrite, "truth" is perhaps the wrong word. Count this as the additional clue :P

    Centeol

    It is Centeol. :)

She was obsessed with Irenicus and subsequently cursed by him. But if you choose the wrong approach during dialogue you never get to find out.

    1) You will pay for disturbing my rest
    2) Fear me
    3) Silence! I shall not be subjected to your excuses

    The Crypt King.

    Correct!

    This one could be tough.

    1. I have three names, but they're almost identical, and have the same root.
    2. I might be a murderer. But the courts are on my side!
    3. Congratulations on your work! Especially if nobody died.

    Alatos?

    1. Alatos Ravenscar Thuibuld - they don't sound identical though :/ but meh
    2. Killed the zombie in the wilderness that wanted that +2 Golem dagger back
    3. Shandalar's daughters thing Airship quest

    @Mush_Mush: Nope.

    Neb?

Naah, now that I think of it he is a murderer in BG1, so the second clue doesn't apply. Also, I was sure his name was spelled differently in the games but maybe it's just the reference to his race that differs. The last clue I thought was about the children spirits.
  • semiticgoddesssemiticgoddess Member Posts: 14,903
    Not Neb either.

Sarevok? He has two names that are similar that I know of and the courts are on his side and you have to protect the dukes from him.
  • TressetTresset Member, Moderator Posts: 8,268
Perhaps not... apparently @semiticgod only plays BG2...

    Saerk perhaps?

Honestly that 3 name clue is really making it hard for me... Who the heck has 3 names?!

Extra clue, because I thought this one would be very challenging:

The NPC is from a stronghold quest.

Must be from one I haven't seen yet then...

    Ti'Vael?
  • semiticgoddesssemiticgoddess Member Posts: 14,903
Nope. I never even heard of most of these guesses...

By the way, @Mush_Mush, I love your username.

Nope. I never even heard of most of these guesses....

Ti'Vael was a dwarf from the cleric stronghold questline that murdered someone and you can either encourage him to kill the witnesses or to make amends with the family. He fit the second two points but doesn't have the elusive 3 names.

By the way, @Mush_Mush, I love your username.

    Thanks :)
