Adventurer's logic: judging something is evil and foul = having authority to carry the punishment. That's not how it works, you holier-than-thou scoundrels. Who decided that YOU should be the one to make things right?

Torm.
Helm.
You choose.
Uh-huh. Tell that to Ulraunt after killing Iron Throne leaders. :> EDIT: Also - this means that paladin in Baldur's Gate harassing is right, isn't he?

@booinyoureyes You've been gone a while, friend. Liking my posts from June and July. You little stalker, you.
In all seriousness though, welcome back. The more Baldur's Gate fans the merrier.
It be a cold and dreary day when The Thumb can't extend a bit of hospitality to his guests. Come, enter and be welcome at the Baldur's Gate Logic thread.

Drunken Paladins in bars should be forbidden to cast detect evil. If I was Tyr I think I would ignore that request...
A shopkeeper has a huge selection of magical weapons, armor, scrolls, and potions. If you kill them, they drop 17 gold pieces and a random cheap gem. The shop inventory is nowhere to be found.
All shopkeepers have an arrangement with the local wizard guild for off site pocket plane storage. Can't be too careful with all the adventuring murder hobos around.
a level 16 ranger who has incredibly powerful magical scimitars and chain mail who can slice right through your level 5 team no sweat
needs your assistance in taking out a bunch of gnolls that a level 5 team can take out no sweat
I like to move all around him, leaving only him in the fog of war. He won't fight back against the gnolls and voila, about five real-time minutes later, I pick up a couple of really neat scimitars and a kick-ass magic chainmail! (After I dispatch a few gnolls, of course.)

Beamdog forum community logic: we've come to page 28 of the Baldur's Gate logic and nobody mentioned this most obvious strangeness of the whole game yet?

What galls me about him is that he takes offense if we just say we want to stay out of the fight, and that's it's none of our business. Then, he even goes so far to attack us. Yes sir, Mr Big Shot hero 'good' ranger has it in himself to kill those just wanting to stay out of the fight (even good characters). I think his rep aught to drop on that kinda response to a fight that is for him about on par with fightin sheep or something. What a trumped up egotistical 'ranger'. I think he still has some issues left over from the Underdark.

Everyone knows the best method of carrying your stuff is a +4 Manpurse of Infinite Storage.
Also thanks for page 28, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would still have a thread at this point.

Umm...I fold
Know thyself, as the inscription over the door of the Oracle in Delphi stated - and to thine own self be true, Shakespeare insisted.

Kills one zombie and leaves everything up to a party of complete strangers whose word he takes on merit.
