@AndrewFoley how have you been buddy? Have you enjoyed any cinematic adventures this year?
Also, if you want a date movie for you and your lady, I recommend "About Time" and "They came together".
I don't get out to the theatre much these days because every other jerk thinks they're in their living room and I'm just tired of asking people to please shut the hell up. I saw LOOPER last night, it was good. Gareth Edwards' MONSTERS, pretty solid. For actual recent movies, I think the only three I've seen this year have been Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Sin City 2, and the only reason I went to the last two was because my wife dragged me along.
I've heard good things about THEY CAME TOGETHER--got the DVD reserved when it shows up at the library. Richard Curtis I run hot and cold on, but I'll put ABOUT TIME on the library reserve list too. I'll probably enjoy them more than my wife, though, she's more into... well, stuff like the X-Men and Frank Miller. Is it any wonder I love her so?
Excellent, I think you will like both those. we also recently caught Her and Philomena which were both good. Grand Budapest hotel was a lot of fun, and I'm not much of a wes Anderson fan.
I'm afraid my non-disclosure agreement prevents me from disclosing that information. Let's just say it involves red kryptonite and Zack Snyder directing the next two films Supes appears in and leave it at that.
Sorry, I didnt mean to upset anyone, I liked fantastic Mr fox and grand budapest...but I've never been in the right mood while watching another of his films and havent finished them.
As for the man of steel, I say if they have another brush with Brian singer he is all set.
I expect I'll work more or less normal office hours, maybe cut out a little early, then probably go out for dinner with my wife--it's our tenth anniversary.

On a side note, a new question: What will you do on October, 31, 2014? :P
Work at the office most of the morning; doctor's appointment at 11:30am or whenever my doctor gets around to seeing me; work at home for what's left of the afternoon. Gary Numan is performing in Edmonton Hallowe'en night, so barring catastrophe, the missus and I will be going to that in the evening.
Alveus can be a bit of a blowhard, but I like the officious know-it-all in spite of it. I'll admit I kind of hope these things take off so he gets to do more of them.
My NDA prevents me from confirming or denying the existence of any hypothetical writer who may have contributed to @AlveusMalcanter's lectures. I imagine Amber Scott, Mark Meer, and @Dee's NDAs do the same for them.

If it weren't for NDAs, this thread would be incredibly informative and entertaining for the fifteen minutes it'd last before I got fired for opening my big mouth.

Well if there was no NDA to break, then they wouldn't fire you.
And besides, it's not like anyone here would rat you out. You can trust us!
Is there anything on your phone that you'd care to share?
Plenty, but nothing I'd like to share so much that I'd risk losing my job over it.
(TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION ALERT! Due to a number of anti-social personality quirks I possess, I just purchased my first ever personal cellphone around two weeks ago. I honestly don't know if it takes pictures. Or texts. The only reason I know it receives phone calls is because someone called me as a wrong number.)

Oh bugger. I mean--hm. What can I say here...? It all looks pretty sweet to me. I hope Phil doesn't lose his job over it. Plenty, but nothing I'd like to share so much that I'd risk losing my job over it.
