Also, is Beamdog continuing to exclude Nixies? Nixie oppression is a terrible problem, and electing one Nixie to the Presidency does not mean descrimination is done! We need affirmative action to help protect Nixie interests!

Just looked up "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" and I didn't know that was a trope.
And now I realize my Piro character falls into this trope, sort of. She's a happy-go-lucky gnome fey sorceress who's primary goal in life is to make everyone around her happy.
She does this because she feels incredibly lonely inside and is so extremely outgoing because she's terrified to be alone. Her backstory explains why this is, but that's for another time for when I eventually finish the story I'm writing.

I assumed it was a separate game since we got that picture of the new UI.
I assumed the same but in their AMA they were quite evasive in answering the straing question. Anyway, the media also called it "a new Baldur's Gate game".
Can we expect that Adventure Y has HD version ? Base on current information , It's standalone version with new UI , it means they don't have to follow BG-EE lower pixel setting , is it ?

I think they will stick with the BGEE/BG2EE look since it would be a bit jarring to have the "middle game" of a series be a different style than the rest.
I assumed it was a separate game since we got that picture of the new UI.

I've searched through the Internet recently and it seems we have to thank asians for loading the screenshots so that they wouldn't be lost. I FREAKING LOVE DROW. I'm sure Val'myr would LOVE to go visit his kin in the underdark! After all, he's been raised in Candlekeep and knows nothing about his heritage.

I don't think we still have the Underdark confirmed though, but the @WithinAmnesia 's idea about two world maps: one for the general world and one which would consist of underground areas - has a very high percentage to be true.
