Here's the list of questions from Twitch I've collected so far:
Twitch Questions
(Cardanal) I like the old UI better. Will there be an option to use the old one instead of the new one? (Adulk) Is the game stand-alone, or part of BG:EE? (clarify that it's a new adventure that's separate, but installed within BG:EE) (Xenotaku) What's in the gift bags? (slimewizard) What's up with the 90s voice clips mixed with the new stuff? (Spacejaws) Is this the last original content they will create for BG and BGII, and will they be looking to do original content (D&D or otherwise) from here on out? (kortex64) What's the level cap? (TariToons) Will there be a new Noober/Neeber cousin? (Shadyslol) When will the game be released? The most important question btw (sneakymedulla) Will there be multiplayer? (Deslynn) Will the interface improvements be ported to the other Enhanced Edition games? (slimewizard) What has become of the golden pantaloons? (Shadyslol) Will we see Dorn, Neera, and Rasaad?
(Spacejaws) What determines the starting party if you don't import? (sneakymedulla) will the items and gear carry over from bgee to siege of dragonspear, and also over to bgee 2? (Nikochristian) Will there be romances in the game/can you continue your existing romance from BG:EE? (sneakymedulla) Can you multiclass as a shaman? (Billbisco) Can we complete the game with a party of our choice (aka not Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc, Dynaheir, Imoen) (Wubblicious) What can you tell us about the prevalence of gazebos in SoD? (sneakymedulla) Can we have a base of operations we can improve over time, and a pet monster too? (Billbisco) How does a shaman import into BGII:EE? (Billbisco) Will BGII:EE allow SoD NPCs to join in? (Shadyslol) Will modders be allowed to mod the game? (wubblicious) Did we manage to get all the old voice actors? Did we have to replace any? (Pscyon) Will we be able to delete the pregenerated characters, or do we have to overwrite them again? (Billbisco) Is there any plan to change the start of BGII:EE based on NPC choices in SoD? (Billbisco) will there be a beta for SoD and the patches for BG:EE and BGII:EE? (slimewizard) How much of the 5e branding affected decisions like the UI? How much were Nathan Stewart and Mike Mearls involved? (Nikochristian) What did Sam Hulick use as inspiration for the game's music? (TariToons) Will we be able to meet and beat the crap out of Saemon Havarian? (Pscyon) Will there be additional paid content after SoD? (Shadyslol) Will the VO really be localized in SoD? What about BG:EE and BGII:EE? (Nooberheyaheyaheyaheya) Is there any crossover between SoD and IWD?
As you might expect, the sudden appearance of a whole new campaign in the middle of the Baldur’s Gate saga makes for some major levelling issues. Beamdog will update Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition for the release of Dragonspear to smooth the transition. But if a player goes out of their way to overlevel, squeezing every last drop of XP out of their enemies before porting over their character, nobody’s going to stop them (“I think that’s one of those things that Baldur’s Gate fans have enjoyed”).
It transpires that Chris Avellone was brought on late in Dragonspear’s writing - playing the campaign through and offering a “couple of pages of hate” - suggestions for the team to work on. “If Chris is going to be available for the future - I have great respect for the guy,” said Oster. “Every time we’ve hung out, it’s been a blast. Any way we can work together going forward, I’m happy to facilitate it. He has the world in front of him right now, though. He’s like the belle of the ball - everyone wants to work with him.”
The Dragonspear site says, "There is no open beta for Siege of Dragonspear. If you wish to become a beta tester, sign up on our beta tester forums to be eligible for selection."
Where and how can I access this beta forum sign-up?
When they showed Jaheiras spell book it seemed to imply that the IWD druid spells weren't added, which is a pity, since I'd thought that was a given
Although what more than makes up for that was saying in the Q&A that they're going to do something about switching between sword and shield and bow attacks more easily, which has always really annoyed me
Edit: Looking again, Jaheira did seem to have chant added, so there might now be one level 2 druid spell that isn't totally rubbish.

I could not be more excited.

MY LIFE IS COMPLETE! I love you Beamdog! I LOVE YOU!
And one that didn't fall due to tragedy or other such sadness. Just water issues. So beautiful dwarven architecture without the sads.
Is this real? I'm starting to think not!
The only problem is that us IoS-ers...will need to wait longer for it. And yes, that makes us IoSers.
