Yes... You always lose some energy in some way (thermal emission, friction, light emission, etc.). A 100% efficient engine would be defying the laws of physics.

Hmm... The names of these spambots remind me of the musical piece "Baba Yaga" which is from "Pictures at an Exhibition", by Modest Mussorgsky (one of my favorite composers). The piece is based on a painting of some sort of witch from Russian folk tales or some such. She flies around in a hut on chicken legs. I am pretty sure the spambots and the piece are unrelated.
(Note: the second 'half' of the piece they are playing in the video is actually the next part of the Pictures at an Exhibition based on a painting of some gate at Kiev or something and not Baba Yaga.)
Wow, I just banned a spambot who actually tried to participate in forum discussions. For example, these were his answers:
