TWO IN A ROW BUT WHATEVER, those are very special circumstances!
Confession: I'm slightly afraid of going to sleep bc when I'm up again, the forum will probably explode in my face and I can't afford staying up for one (ehehe he) more hour.
Confession: I hoard potions and never use them. The only exception to this is healing potions. Other than that I end up at the end of SoA/ToB with a case worth of potions I'll never use.
Its funny because ammo I'll often get rid of even if I have someone that can use it. I just make sure if I do so that that I know where I've sold it. But potions I hold onto.
Confession: I cannot say if playing BG feels so amazing now because of EEditions, or because of this forum - but i wouldn't find it if not for EE, so it's the same old chicken or the egg problem.
Confession: I hoard everything. EVERYTHING. And I sort items in multiplecontainers: one Bag of Holding for quest items and the like, one BoH for unique weapons and armor I might use. One scrollcase with at least one copy of every spellscroll I find, one scrollcase for quest related notes. One potion case with at least one potion of every type. One gembag with at least one gem of each type, one gembag with the magical rings and necklaces, and one gembag for wardstones and the like.
Confession: to make sorting stuff easier (see above confession) I change the type of wardstones and other 'small rock-like things' (e.g. the pommel jewel) from misc to gem, some liquids (like kuo-toa blood) to potions, and some quest notes and other flat paper-like things (piece of cloth) to scroll.
@elminster - I too am a horder. I usually end up with a ton of scrolls/potions/wands. I also horde gear that some NPC might use sometime if I end up having them join. I keep all of the gear in my suite at the Jovial Juggler
I use them a lot but I still always have a ton of Kuo-Toa bolts left over by the end of the game. You just get so many of them... BG2 really needs an extra ammo belt... One for Kuo-Toa bolts and one for everything else.
Confession: I tend to use Potions so trivially I end up using them all. Still, if I find a Potion, I pick it up (unless it is a Potion of Stone Form/Dexterity/Uselessness).

I don't get why those sell for so cheap. I have to use an entire characters inventory just for those things, but I could sell them if they where worth something. Bolts of lightning sell for a lot.
Confession: i discovered yesterday that if you equip a weapon with a charge ability, you don't have to actually wield it to use the ability.
Confession: when i wield a ranged weapon, i always use ammo, even if the weapon doesn't require ammo. I can't stand having too many ammo in my inventory.
Confession: I believe Keldorn should wear a t-shirt with a slogan: "Carsomyr without you I'd be nothing".
Confession: sometimes I wonder how it is possible that someone who killed 500 people can be a legal good.
Confession: many years ago I played bg2 with a mod. I can't remember wich mod was, I only remember that xzar cheated the harper guy, and wasn't really dead, so he appeared and gave me a quest.
Confession: at first I was skeptical about the loot button in BG2EE. Then I started using it, came to appreciate it, and now I sorely miss it in BG1EE...
Confession: No matter how hard I try, I can't recall what was the first charname I created. I remember wandering around Candlekeep as a blue-skinned female Paladin with Str 18/00 sometime at the dawn of the last century (do.not.ask) and I *guess* I finished BG1 for the first time with male elven mage/fighter, but that's all. Pity.
Confession: I do know what my first CHARNAME was. I was playing with my dad, because I was like 5, and could barely read, and I choose Edwin's portrait, because it was orange, and tigers are orange, and my favorite animal is a tiger. His name was GREAT TIGER and he was a human fighter,(probably LG, but I don't know) because my dad told me to be a fighter because they died less. I don't know if I ever finished the game, but I'm pretty sure I did. I seem to remember being really impressed with the undercity, but I don't know if I killed Serevok. All of ToSC I did was the ice island, though I may have been on the wear wolf island for a time. It's all very blurry. I tried to play bg2, but by then I could read, but I was to up young to understand that magic in athlatka sum und to (to me) über-powerful guards. So I decided it was to hard, and just embraced my bg1 restartitis, from an early age. I remember my little brother getting owned the the gender-bender ogre, freaking out over the death animation, and not ever playing the game again. He's now 13, and when he saw bg2ee on the doc(we have a Mac) he rolled up a pure ranger, (really terribly) and fell in the first five minutes of the game by shooting fireballs. He didn't realize he had fallen till a showed him a few days later. Being the impatient prick he is, he then decided "screw playing the game" and jumped into ToB. He spent a very long, frustrated time of me telling he was doing it wrong, and getting killed by the tiniest monsters because he didn't know how the spell system worked (I showed him horrid wilting and he flipped out, because he had no idea how I did it) and he didn't know he could go back to the pocket plane with his special ability, and I refused to show him how to play unless he went back to SoA and actually played the game, instead if just doing it.
Holy walk of text! I did not mean for that to get that long! Sorry for the rant.
Confession: When I first did the Five Flagons quest I had no idea who Biff the Understudy was, but I found him hilarious. I still have never seen him in BG1 but I really really want to.
Confession: I dream of an updated BGT mod, simply called Baldur's Gate: Anthology, Chronicles, Complete, or something similar. It would allow you to take a character from Candlekeep to Melissan without any breaks. This fantasy affair would include compatibility with the BG1 NPC Project, Ascension, and Rogue Rebalancing, most importantly, along with other mods, and connect BG1 and BG2 with Adventure Y. Additionally, except for characters killed off in between games, it would start you off in Chateau Irenicus with the party you'd used to defeat BG1. Finally, Xzar would be spared his ridiculous fate and made available as a fully voiced and playable NPC for the entire saga. A man can dream…

Confession: I dislike the evil characters. Not because of "evil," but because it annoys me that the evil characters are all too stupid to realize that PRETENDING to be good is much, much more evil than being a stereotypical mustache-twirler. I'm not going to kill random peasants to make them happy, and if Edmund/Dorn/Korgan want to pay 50% more for everything because they can't control their special "mentally unstable psycho" powers, then they can do it somewhere else.
Confession: Despite that, I tolerate BGII Viconia. Because psycho chicks are hot.
Confession: I've never played as an evil character. There's enough of that in the real world.
Confession: I have never played as a pure magic user.
Confession: I have always "cheesed" the Suldanessellar battle with Irenicus. It's not my fault the programmers relied on cheese to make the battle difficult, and it's perfectly acceptable to hurl wheels of flaming Roquefort in return.
Confession: I used to like Kivan. Then he left my party literally one screen before I was going to the Bandit Camp. My consolation? I roflstomped that place without him.
@dinobirdguy I now have a mental image of Charname and Jan Jansen throwing endless blue cheese and turnips at Irenicus. It is glorious. (Cheesewheel of Plenty +1 needs to be a thing...)

I wholeheartedly agree and disagree at once (mentally unstable psycho, yay!). Stereotypical moustache-twirler is totally ridiculous and this is why I never recruit Korgan/Tiax/Shar-Teel. Xzar I simply don't like but he at least makes some sense, Chaotic Evil plus mage for me can exist in just one form, being, insane wizard and that's exactly who he is. It annoys me terribly that there aren't more characters like Eldoth and that he's actually pretty bland, he's the epitome of Neutral Evil selfish, but quite subtle bastard and more or less what you described. It would be amazing to get such an NPC in BG2. Kagain and Dorn are somewhere in between and I'll insist that particularly the last one makes quite a lot of sense with his NE alignment and increasingly brutal attitude. It simply pays off more than getting wholesale discount, while having a patron, at least up to some point. Then it all falls apart due to deteriorating writing, meh.
Confession: Despite that, I tolerate BGII Viconia. Because psycho chicks are hot.
She's the best of all romanceable female NPCs and one of the best NPCs in general, but still, I want another interesting, preferably non-good female NPC with potential for development But hot? Noooooo. Sorry, but I consider Drow version of hot awfully unalluring.
Also, Confession: I dislike Lawful Good characters even more, because usually this alignment equals a very limited worldview. Dynaheir is an exception and getting her (alive!) in BG2 would be a dream come true, but I think I might accept Rasaad instead, not just because of the accent.
My charname (and 3/4 of her party) just got killed by a werewolf (probably). At level 4. At the bottom of FAI stairs. I left the game on and went to do some chores, when I got back, I saw the obvious message and this creature still standing there O_o What the flying f*ck?
Confession: I consider people exploding at random like this disturbingly amusing, especially now, when I discovered why it happens... even if it's Rasaad. Turning into a werewolf after getting hit by lightning is the most ridiculous bug ever xD

I prefer Jaheira, myself... but the romance is so glitchy that it makes it less enjoyable. That difference makes Viconia that much more attractive to me.
I wouldn't mind Aerie, but in the two times I've romanced her, she's given birth during the final battle(s) with Melissan twice... which I find nigh impossible, magic be damned. Plus, who wants to date a two-hundred (DIRC?) year-old teenager?

Confession: I am making way to big a deal of my !!!THOUSANDTH POST!!! :P
Confession: I'm nervous that the post counter will bug out and I won't get the badge and look like a bloody idiot for trying to copy and paste form how to format your posts learn all that HTML.
Confession: I thought the timer was for the announcement of IWD:EE. Just kidding, or am I?! O,.,O
Confession: I really don't like Clara.
Confession: If I made a list of NPCs in order from which ones I really like to the which ones that I don't, Clara would be last on the list, after Tiax.
Confession: If I made a list of NPCs in order from which ones I like to the ones I don't, Kivan and Coran would rotate from first to second, and this depending on my mood.
Confession: I've had a really interesting bug in Tutu and BGT, where Jaheira or Khalid would randomly turn into a werewolf for no reason at all. I didn't do werewolf isle, so yeah, no reason at all.
Confession: Several of my characters have been struck by lightning and lived to tell the tale.
Confession: Khalid, in one play through where he was F/M/T, was chunked by a Lightning Bolt at the bottom of the Cloakwood Mines, and became waterlogged when the mine was flooded. So, I wonder how Irenicus got Khalid's corpse out of there, and I kind of feel sorry for Imoen. Also, Irenicus is a sick, sick man.
Confession: Some of my characters have kissed Shoal. It was horrible.
Confession: I've made Garrick and Jaheira kiss Shoal.
Confession: I've gone through the treasure cave in the Lighthouse area without Safana in the group.
Confession: When it comes to evil NPCs, I think Shar-Teel is awesome. Of course, this was before the addition known as Baeloth the Entertainer.
Confession: I have never seriously played/considered a dual class character. The experience I have with dual classing is as follows:
Start vBG1 as a fighter/thief multi like always. Don't need Imoen as a thief at all. Dual her to mage conjurer at level 2. Imoen is now basically a single class mage. Yay!
Now I have no idea how to do it right and will have to wander over to the new players help section to ask for advice on how to do dual.
Edit: Come to think of it, I don't really care about spoilers so I will ask in the general section.

Clearly you were supposed to turn into The Flash. Jeezus, Beamdog, get it right. I demand a refund!
