Getting the head shape right is indeed the tricky part. There are many cool hats, and when you look at old movies people wear them and it just fits and blends in so well
Today a hat sticks out, so it really really have to fit you - or you’ll just be another hipster wannabe making a statement. And the world don’t need more of those...

@Son_of_Imoen Well, to be honest, I'm doing great in terms of mental health. As I said, catgirls really cured my depression. The symptoms of my OCD (which I've been suffering from all throughout my teenage years) are also almost completely gone. I don't really feel sad anymore these days, and this is not an overstatement.
I know not everyone likes anime and anime catgirls. But that doesn't mean that someone who likes them is somehow mentally "unwell". I hope we can appreciate the fact that everyone has different tastes and preferences, and not everyone can find common ground in any particular thing.
Well, actually it was a joke. And I'm glad your doing well mentally. I wish I could say the same, but at least I can see there's enjoyable things in life even though I feel tired with it (life, that is).

Call me a traitor. Euro Truck Simulator 2 has replaced Baldur's Gate as my favourite game of the moment. Wheels for everyone! Go for the cargo Boo!

In vanilla ETS2 I travelled 394.000 km, with ProMods installed I travelled 175.000 km.
@Rik_Kirtaniya: I have no doubt in the power of anime catgirls to improve one's mood, but how did you get 2 inches taller by working out? Because I know more than a few short critters who would love to add a couple inches to their height.
I'm just reflecting on the good life I have. I get to live in a warm home with nice people who like each other and get along. There's home cooked food and four soft cats and my girlfriend's parents have a good marriage and like spending time with each other. It's just so wholesome and I love being here.
My girlfriend and I have talked about moving out into a place of our own sometime after COVID (probably after Lily finds a higher-paying job as a nurse), and while I like the idea of having more privacy, Lily's family is just really nice and we're happy here.
I have a good home and it's so precious. It makes me feel warm and safe.
I just watched When Marnie Was There with Lily and we both cried. The movie is so sweet and so earnest and has such big lesbian vibes and it's heartbreaking and it makes me happy. Tonight is the first time I've ever seen Lily weep tears of joy. I just held her in my arms and told her how much I love her and how happy she makes me happy, and she did the same to me.
I love my life so much. I am so lucky to be hers. And she makes me feel so special and so important and so precious.
I ah... so life has not been very good lately, for me. I live just north of a medium size city, but it kind of feels like the country. Eagles, deer, turkeys, foxes, we get it all. So I am close to a city but not quite. The governor lives just a couple of minutes from me. I have been struggling since my boyfriend passed away. I had never done Christmas really, I had been so alone for most of my life, Christmas was never really on my radar, I was on my own when I was 15, not an excuse but it made a difference.
So! On the other side of the river and valley from me there is a quarry. There is a railway that passes through that valley and a major industrial station beside the quarry. Honestly, I can see the Harley Davidson factory and Post cereal factory from my rear deck, that train is huge here, sooooo important to our local factories.
Anyway! Every year the train yard uses their whistle to play an amazing holiday tune on New Year’s Day so they start practicing weeks before. This year they are practicing, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”.
They have it down this year. Absolutely amazing! The first year I heard it, being honest it is kind of eerie, when you get used to it it is kind of special. Somehow, as horrible as my life is right now, that eerie whistle made me feel better. I remember laying next to him and hearing them practicing through the night. I was in bed tonight when they started to practice and it just felt amazing, like a moment of normalcy in an otherwise shity year. Maybe, somehow, life will go on.
I'm sorry for your loss, but happy that you have those deep and meaningful memories. Your love must've been great...and is great still to warm you in the night. To lovers and dreamers go the sweetest tears.
My girlfriend got me a cat costume for Christmas. It's a snow white onesie with a hood with a cat face on it. I squealed so much when I saw it, and even more when I saw myself in the mirror. It's so ridiculously cute. She called me her "itty bitty pretty kitty," one of my old pet names for her.
I so badly want to go to a restaurant wearing it just to show off my dorky cat costume. It would be embarrassing but I'm so proud of it, and I'm so proud of my girlfriend for thinking of it. I was thinking of wearing our trans flag as a cape to go with it.
I think I'm now officially a furry. It's not like I could deny it, now that I actually own a cat costume.
A friend of mine who has struggled with depression and gender dysphoria is finally coming to be okay with her appearance and appreciating the changes of her transition. For so long, I wanted for her to see the beauty in herself and love herself the way I love her.

I'm learning how to roller skate, and while it's super challenging and tiring, I ran into a couple of adorable stray puppyroos in my neighborhood!
I think they just wanted food instead of pets, since they left after they gave me a thorough sniffing, but it was still a nice experience.
Just now, I finally won the first encounter with a new party in The Dark Queen of Krynn. This encounter consists of two blue dragons and a green one. Previously I could only win this battle using imported characters from the previous games, particularly because they have useful weapons such as the Footman's Dragonlance, which can instantly kill a dragon with a single hit. You don't get this weapon if you roll a new party, which makes winning the first encounter almost impossible. Nevertheless, I was able to do that just now. Only one of my characters survived (it was a party of six), and she survived with only 1 hit point.
I find the dwarf being class Dwarf much more hilarious Those old school games being so humanocentric is quite entertaining.
I imagine a CHARNAME going to like copper coronet to recruit a team of adventurers and like;
Charname; OK guys, I need a well rounded party! I'm a Mage and have a wide variety of spells.
Human 1; I'm a fightress! I can tank, attack hard and shield the rest of the party.
Charname; Ok, good. You can join.
Human 2; I'm a ranger, I can sneak, am great with bows but can also melee if needed.
Charname; Great, we have need for these skills.
Human 3; I'm a cleric. My diety grant me spells to heal your wounds and buff you for battles.
Charname; Amazing, welcome to the team.
Human 4: I'm a thief. I will disable traps, open locks and can sneak and backstab.
Charname; perfect, we're getting a well rounded team now.
Dwarf; I am a Dwarf. I can dwarf, dwarf and dwarf some more.
Charname; SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
In the game's defense, I'm the one who came up with those names : D
